There Is A Second Limited Edition Mario DSi Plus Wii Point Cards To Collect

Nintendo has not one, but two Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary handhelds to collect. There’s the limited edition DSi XL Nintendo announced at their press conference and a Super Mario Bros. themed Nintendo DSi. The slimmer and smaller Nintendo DSi will be available at 7-11 stores for 14,800 yen ($178), 200 yen ($2.20) less than a regular DSi.

7-11 also has collectable Nintendo Point cards with 8-bit Mario sprites to collect. Each gold card has 1,000 Wii Points for 1,000 yen ($12).

And I was wondering why Mario was mysteriously missing from the DSi LL, here it is.. I would’ve preferred Mario instead of just the power-ups… design still a little too simple for my taste, and the bright red.. the point card is nice even though we could use our credit card.

Good god, I would kill for that Red Mario DS my favorite color, and 8-bit Mario, it just speaks to my inner child. But at the same time it’s so impossibly nice I don’t think I could actually use it, because I feel like using it would taint it T_T’

If only the 7-11 stores out here in the States would stock up on such items.
