Ah, so this is how two Denams can fight each other. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together has a neat system where players design and share teams to battle with friends.

This isn’t a direct multiplayer system where one person selects attacks while the other gets a snack. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together has players pick units and artificial intelligence patterns for them. Some commands are: attacker, defender, tight end, libero, and mentor. You can even create phrases for characters to say when they reach certain conditions.

In Tactics Ogre’s team battle mode, neither group will have a level advantage. All characters will be the same level.

Square Enix also shared male and female artwork for the Beast Tamer and Terror Knight classes.

Zomg now that is the change we need! This innovative psuedo multiplayer system of sorts sounds particularly compelling, especially the catch phrases.

It’s the same thing they Did In Dissidia 2 years ago. Not Saying it’s not cool, but it’s not like it’s innovative for this game to have it.

I Hope it has Infra-multiplayer as well (assuming that it has Multi[player at all) because I know the people near me won’t play it with me. The only game my brother will play with me is Dissidia and even then he’s waiting till Duodecim comes out QQ

Umm. Why is the picture of the Terror Knight class using a sword and shield? Their preferred weapon in Tactics Ogre was the axe. Looks like another thing Square Enix is changing in the game. There also better be a multiplayer feature. BS if there’s not. Player vs. player multiplayer, not player vs.player ai.

Too bad the sprites don’t look anywhere near as appealing as those images. I know this is an SRPG and that gameplay takes precedent but damn- that one fugly game.

    • Shadow_Raskolnik

The sprites in this game are great, there’s no need to change them. I don’t know what you’re talking about, but the game is looking good so far.

The art looks good (portraits). The sprites are weak. Don’t spit in my face and tell me its raining…
