imageSquare Enix is lending the Fullmetal Alchemist series to Maple Story maker Nexon. While Edward Elric won’t be in that game, something from Fullmetal Alchemist is planned for another Nexon MMO, Mabinogi. Specific details about the collaboration have not been announced.

Nexon added alchemy to the Mabinogi universe. Perhaps, the tie up will be related to that part of the game.

  • Awesome! ^_^

  • I hate nexon, they have all their games but Maplestory IP blocked, i hate hate hate them, after all the money i spend in older days on maplestory, and played closed beta of mabinogi to get f##ed with the release, and now Victorius or w/e (mabinogi 2). This is a company i wont ever support again.

And dont come saying “It isnt Nexon’s fault” because it is -.- i dont think the developers want to cover less region (because is more money to them) this is just nexon making things easier for them, cant pay good enough servers, and have to deal with less problems….

There are so many mmorpg being IP blocked… wtf, one of the most important, and interesting features of mmorpg is playing with people around the globe or continent… not just a little area… *siiigh* i loved mabinogi so much T.T

    • Shujisan

lol you ever played Vindictus? i can tell you a friend of mine did
IT’S HELL, the lag is bad cause Vindictus is a peer to peer game! dungeons run on YOUR connection not the server itself so the worse your connection the more lag!

And it’s kind of the Developers will to make it IP-restricted
you hopefully know that Nexon IS part of the Developer of Mabinogi
devCat is a Company WITHIN Nexon

  • The PS2 Fullmetal games were really fun. Maybe only bc I’m a fan of the show but I don’t think that’s necesarily a bad thing. I think a really cool game could be made on the PS3/360 if it were given enough depth.
