Sega is bringing Sakura Wars into the ever growing Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity universe. The PSP game will have weapons and costume from the Sakura Wars series available as paid downloadable content.

Items from Pachislot Kaitou Tenshi Twin Angel 2, a machine made by Sammy, will also be sold as downloadable content in Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity 2.

  • I wonder if any of the characters from Sakura Wars So Long My Love will make it over, which reminds me that I need to finish playing the game. I loved the characters of the 3 or so hours Ive played thus far (although the bosses defeated me too easily)

  • The amount of fansevice this game offers is staggering. I want!!

  • Relegation to DLC of a more popular series. What a way to go.

Don’t forget the browser game. :(

At least Sega is doing something with it, it gives me hope we’ll see an HD port of Sakura Wars 3 as part of Sega’s current DC binge. It was a little worrisome that Sega wasn’t including Sakura Wars characters in any of their crossover opportunities lately, it seemed like all the rights went to RED.
