Catherine’s action part has set stages for players to clear. The news comes from a leaked Xbox 360 achievement list, which rewards players Gamerscore points for each stage they complete.
In the Golden Theater, presumably Catherine’s action part, levels have different kinds of stones Vincent can step on. According to the list there are jump stones, slippery ice stones, and black stones that slow Vincent down. Other times Vincent will have to push stones and detonate explosion stones. It appears players can collect special "golden prizes" in levels and the game has multiple difficult settings.
Another interesting tidbit is Vincent can help other characters solve their problems. Morgan, a character who has not been revealed yet, has a drinking problem. Help him and Catherine will reward you with Gamerscore points or (probably) a trophy on PlayStation 3. Another person you can help is Justin who is a journalist. Characters Archie and Daniel also appear to have love troubles.
Catherine may have some kind of post-game challenge mode too. After you complete scenario mode you can unlock a coliseum mode. There is also a 64 stages of Rapunzel to beat for 10 Gamerscore points.
The achievement list mentions some or maybe even all of the game’s endings, which we’re not going to spoil here. We’ll just say that Catherine has many outcomes.
