Wake Up Dead In This Playable Ghost Trick Demo

By Ishaan . December 7, 2010 . 10:11am

Can’t wait for Ghost Trick any longer? Here’s a playable demo, courtesy of Capcom. Additionally, there’s a new Ghost Trick trailer, embedded below the demo, too.

If the demo in our post is a little too small in size, you can try your luck with the larger version on Nintendo of Europe’s website. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is due for a North American release on January 11, 2011.

A huge thanks to reader WildArms for tipping us off about the demo!

Interesting gameplay, and I like the background music.
So much good games release in similar time, I really need to find time to play games (I have barely started to play the 999).

Demo sold me on the game. Love the writing, so I hope that it goes the same for the final product.

Btw i just tried the demo of Miles Edgeworth 2, dunno if i will be able to beat it xD,but as i though, my japanese is miles long before being able to play these kinds of heave text games

Yeah, especially since Gyakuten Saiban has a lot of really obscure law-related words… I had a lot of trouble just getting through the first case of the first game on my own limited Japanese.

    Oh schway, a demo!

    This game looks so fun.
Although I’m confused about the real time bit… Or more like worried. Worried that mt slowness will prevent me from progressing through the game. =u=’

When you are in “Ghost” mode, you have as much time as you need to look at your surroundings and decide what objects you want/need to possess. When you return to the “Trick” mode, where you can perform actions, the game returns to real time.

Ahh, I see. Thanks for the explanation!

The same day as Prinny 2!? WHY!?

  • cj_iwakura

    The demo is amazing.

Very interesting. Now there’s an unusual game.

I hear Nintendo is publishing it in Europe, hopefully they’ll do a good job marketing it.
