By Ishaan . January 6, 2011 . 10:46pm

Atlus’ remake of Persona 2: Innocent Sin on the PSP was originally slated to release this March. According to a report at Dengeki, the game has been delayed by a month to April 14th.

Atlus’ parent company, Index Holdings, didn’t the specify the cause for the delay, merely citing "various reasons."

I guess theyve gotta polish the game, or maybe they wanna give Catherine its full attention for the period…or to get away from the 3DS?

      likely 3ds rampage

    OH NO! Poor importers. *shrug*

Whatever, I think Devil Survivor is probably one of the stupidest (or at least pointless) ports thus far, so if they’re cramming more efforts into this one, yay.

  • PrinceHeir

i think it’s good since they are already to many games this march.

please remake Eternal Punishment also :)

I see anything like this and I’m normally thinking about the possibility of it getting cancelled. Hence I look at this and have a half second freak out.

Reasons.. Heh.One reason it is and that reason is that they would most likely lose sales if they released their game on march”alot of upcoming games will be released at that month”

Well, this doesn’t really matter much with the NA release date (If it even gets one), so meh. I’m in no rush anyway. There’s enough games to play as it is, and I frankly don’t have too much time to play. I have a mountain of games I spent money on, and yet, I’m not even playing half of them…..

It was delayed because they are getting ready to release it at the same time as the english version…

    …Yeah right xD

    Various Reasons… it’s unsettling.

Very… unsettling… And considering the news comes from Index Holding and not the Atlus branch, it means that they’ve decided to use their influence over the gaming portion of the company which they stated they’d leave alone.

    I don’t like this. It stinks bear-y much…

Could be they’re timing the release so it’s not overshadowed by anything else? Sounds like a good move on Index’s part.

      • Testsubject909

I’ll just hope for the best.

The whole “”various reasons.” dosen’t inspire confidence. But then again I hope I’m only slightly reading too much into it.

As long as it comes out, I’m fine with it. I’ve been waiting 10 years, what’s a couple of months compared to this?

  • Pro_from_Dover

Thats ok… I’m willing to wait because a good thing is coming!

What this does mean is that the Western release will be longer :(

    “Various reasons”
    Oh, that explains everything…

A mix of 3DS rampage and it would have to compete with the new Dissidia. Atlus USA moved Strange Journey back when FFXIII came out, same case here
