Irem Has DLC Plans For Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories

By Spencer . January 21, 2011 . 12:02pm

imageDisaster Report 4: Summer Memories supports nearly everything the PlayStation 3 can do – PlayStation Move, 3D output, and even downloadable content.

Online retailer Game Star notes the PlayStation 3 disaster survival game will have scheduled additional content like costumes and so forth. We’re hoping these are wacky crossovers like a Steambot Chronicles rescue outfit or pixilated Spelunker costume. Nothing says "I’m going to save you!" like steam powered armor.

Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories comes out in Japan on March 10. No publisher has announced it for North America so far.

You got me with the Move part. If Disaster: Day of Crisis is any indiaction of how they’ll integrate it, this could be a hilarious bonus.
This also reminded me that I still have to play the PS2 version I have laying around unplayed >_<

I want this game so bad. Thanks for the info, it seems like months since there has been any.

    DLC is fine with me.

I love Disaster Report; “Raw Ranger” was kinda meh in comparison. Really wish we would have gotten the PSP game over in the States. Fingers crossed for this one!

    Where’s the demo they promised?

    • HarryHodd

They delayed the game till March. This sentence has your answer.

WOW, I hope it comes out in Europe too, I love the original on PS2, it was renamed to SOS The Final Escape for Europe though.

I wish I would have a 3D TV soon once the price is lower.. I alrdy got the Despicable Me and Legend of the Guardians blu-rays and can’t wait to watch them in 3D.. and games like this should be immersive and fun to play in 3D..

  • PrinceHeir

they should have included the content in the disc though, bahh whatever. im still interested in this game :P

Hope it comes out in English somewhere, XSEED said they have no plans to bring it over. :/

    • HarryHodd

Has XSEED done any PS3 games this gen? They seem to love bringing Wii games over. Go post on the Atlus game suggestion page. There is a thread there already. Would be awesome if they did it.

Maybe Agetec will pick this up like the PS2 DR games?

And maybe not come up with horrible box art again?
