This New Gotham City Imposters Trailer Is Hilarious

By Ishaan . July 21, 2011 . 1:31pm

Remember Gotham City Imposters, the multiplayer team FPS set in the Batman universe? Warner Bros. just beamed out a new trailer for it for Comic-Con, and it should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect from the game, personality-wise:

Imposters is still a while from release. It won’t be released until winter 2012. When it does, it’ll be a digital download title for Xbox Live Arcade, PC and PlayStation Network. It’ll cost $15 or 1200 Microsoft Points.

    Hahaha, this is so cute! I can only imagine Batty’s face when he’s watching this from afar.

    He’s always watching. Vigilant.

    rar, I like the fact that ever since TF2, people/companies have started to realized shooters don’t have to always be gritty serious affairs. It’d be a genre I’d be more into if we had more games like TF2, and Timesplitters, that are full of of humor, colorful cartoonish visuals owo; I generally like the trailer for this, and watched a gameplay trailer earlier today, but admittedly the gameplay itself didn’t stand out for me omo;

    That was pretty funny, but when you translate that into a game, it’s looking like a shameless ripoff of TF2 that uses the Batman license in a dumb way. Guess I’ll look elsewhere…

      I don’t see any TF2 in there man.  We haven’t even seen any gameplay yet.

        There’s the game play trailer, I don’t think it’s going as far to say it’s a ripoff, but I think it’s pretty clear where it’s inspiration comes from >w<' Although if you ask me, if your looking at making a shooter, TF2 is the best place to take notes.

    I wish more games that are clearly only intended for multiplayer would just cut the crap and release just multiplayer for less money. I’m pretty excited for this game now.

      I concur; still not sure why EA/Dice is wasting time with a campaign mode in Battlefield 3. BF2 didn’t have or need one, Bad Company had a terrible one. Such a waste of time and money for the developers. That also applies to single player games that have multiplayer modes tacked on. Just my opinion, of course.
