Senran Kagura: Portrait of Girls Strip Transformations Power You Up

Marvelous revealed further details on Senran Kagura: Portrait of Girls’ battle system today. By now, you’ve probably seen a number of instances with Asuka undergoing some sort of strip-transformation. This happens when your ninpo gauge maxes out.

 

The gauge fills up as you attack enemies. Once it’s filled up, you transform and your attack and defense both increase. You also gain access to a special ninpo move.

      Honestly, the boobs in Senran kagura and Tecmo’s games don’t do anything for me at all. I think they both need to work on sexier bodies and better jiggling.

    0:17 – 0:20 and 0:24 – 0:25 ftw. I had to watch 10 times just to make sure it was the correct times. That’s the only reason. Honest. Someone should make an animated gif of these :P.

    This is my favorite character. ^^

    Hack n’ slash gameplay can be fun, but I hope there’s at least a little depth in it. At least stats or different kinds of weapons. At the moment, the combat looks  side-scrolling Dynasty Warrior’s-esque what with the health bar and “musou” bar.

    Title is misleading, btw. When you mention strip-transformations in the article, I expected to see an actual strip transformation in the video. :P

    I really hope this game gets localized. ._. My fiance and I are awaiting awesome boob jiggling action! >_< Not to mention, I really like a lot of the character designs.

    The combat actually looks pretty fun. Sure hope someone picks this up for localization.

    Their boobs still just don’t look right to me. It looks like fake boobs that jiggle, and I just can’t find that sexy. But at least I still have Kiriya the Sexy and Daidouji-sempai.

        Indeed. I think if they sized the bust down a bit, they could make the boobs look better (and tone down the jiggling). It feels too forced as it is now.
        (And I’d be more comfortable if they aged up the characters.)

      If bust sizes up to 99 cm are jiggling this much, I don’t find much reason to think that they’re gonna let Daidouji get away with it…

        True. That’s the only sad part.
        At least in the character art, I didn’t initially realize she was a girl (until it was pointed out and I had to stare hard). But once she gets an actual in-game /model appearance, I probably will have to let go of Daidouji…

      Yes, because an anime game with ninja schoolgirls just screams realism those boobs look strangely out of place.

      Anime and Manga is all about exaggeration so exaggerating boob size and jiggle makes perfect sense.

        On the otherhand… So you wouldn’t complain if Kiriya had a bulge in his pants comparable to the girls’ bust and had a transformation where you catch it briefly and you saw it. Every. Time. One of the girls transformed? Because that’s an exaggeration and it’d totes be okay? Just sayin. If we’re gonna exaggerate, lets get the ladies some fanservice in here too~.

    They left out the transformation… Still that jiggle/size though is almost too much. Maybe it’s just the way the outfit is on the character model. The combat looks pretty fun, though I have to wonder if the enemies are all just going to stand around like that.

      The only thing that can make this better is if you can make them jiggle by shaking the gyroscope in 3DS.

          Well, if they want to top that, they can also build in touchscreen features where you can poke the girls in the dress-up interface, like those two Hayate no Gotoku DS games.

          On the other hand, let’s not raise the CERO ratings any further, or this game might not see the light of day release.

    I feel powered up indeed! This game is a must and I hope it gets localized in the near future. Then I would have another reason to buy a 3DS =^_^=

    Does anyone else feel slightly ashamed and slightly insulted that they made this game knowing EXACTLY who their target audience is?

    I mean…yeah, I’m still gonna get it if it comes out but…doesn’t anyone else feel like we’re being KINDA used here? lol

    Looking so far to be like playing the sword girls from Ikkitousen Xross Impact with better reach and area and comboing, mildly more impressive ougis and far more bleh-looking ingame graphics. Will still wait for final product, though I am leaning far more towards looking for secondhand copies.
