Oinkie Turns Up The Juice In Anarchy Reigns

Sega aren’t holding back with the Anarchy Reigns character reveals. Today they revealed another one, a pig-like character named Oinkie:

 

 

Oinkie is a little bit like the Batman villain, Bane. His weapon is some kind of unstable compound called “the juice” that mutates him when injected into his bloodstream.

    So this is the “crocodile monster” that wikipedia was talking about.

    Well, now I know it isn’t exactly a Croc monster, but seems to be inspired by Bane and Killer Croc, if anything.

    His name is “Oinkie”, and they DON’T turn him into a big, scary Ganon-esque pig-man, but a crocodile? Waste of potential! Like AJ said, it looks like a cross between Bane and Killer Croc…

    … Also, speaking of Genesis desire for more female characters… how weird is it that I would think it TOTALLY AWESOME if Oinkie had been a fat lady that transformed into a half-woman half-crocodile beast? Sexy? Not at all. But damn if it wouldn’t be AWESOME.

        Yeah, I don’t know if it’s just me being a equalist wuss or whatever, but I would like to see some more variety in female character design. Like hey: I’m not gonna sit here and say I DISLIKE sexy women. But I’m a HUGE fan of freakish and extravagant character design, and women never gets those, they always look cute or beautiful or sexy in some way. It just gets kind of “same old same old” after a while, you know?

          I understand exactly where you are coming from. It would be nice to see some extremely over the top female designs but not in a sexy way. I do agree though

          It’s a real shame, to be honest. Japanese artist have little to no tendency to make the “over the top, but not entirely sexy” female designs. There’s Vanillaware’s artist, and you can tell how unique his/her style is by looking at Odin Sphere, Muramasa, or…….Genesis. ^_^

      Bayonetta might be in it…Plus, if you’re speaking of Mathilda, she was on the scene before my dear Bayonetta.

    That’s 9 characters so far. That’s more than enough variety in a fighter/brawler. I guess there will be 12? I don’t care how many more characters so long as PG adds at least one more female.
