Hideo Kojima Tests Out Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D’s Photo Camouflage System

By Spencer . August 12, 2011 . 2:02am

In addition to tilt sensitive bridges, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D has another new feature. The Nintendo 3DS version uses the handheld’s cameras for photo camouflage. This feature lets you dress Snake up in whatever you take a picture of.

Hideo Kojima demonstrated the feature on Twitter by skinning Snake with a Tower Records shopping bag. (Useful‚Ķ if Tower Records runs out of empty cardboard boxes?) Kojima also shared a few pictures of the bottom screen’s menu interface.

Hey Hideo….let’s talk about MGS5 on consoles or Zone of the Enders 3, thanks.

    • But we already got MGS5.

It’s called Peace Walker, it’s totally awesome.

  • Bravo! For innovative systems and programming, you can always count on Kojima. Heck, say what you will about MGS4, it’s the best tech demo for a console I’ve ever played.

A Tower Records bag? Didn’t they go bankrupt years ago?

    • Exkaiser

Obviously Kojima has been hoarding the bag for just such an occasion.
