Gladiator Begins from GoShow tried to replicate the life of a tiger fighting gladiator in ancient Rome. In GoShow’s next game, Gladiator Versus, orcs and elves are honorary Romans.

Before you can join an online fight, you have to make a character. Gladiator Versus, a multiplayer fighting game in development for PlayStation 3, has three: human, elf, and orc. Players can further customize their character’s face. Another change is gladiators can use weapons and magic in battles.
Gladiator Versus has 3-on-3 online battles, which sound like the main focus of the game. There is a single player mode too and missions are designed to take between five to ten minutes to complete.
Gladiator Versus will be released later this year for 6,279 yen ($81) in Japan.
