By Spencer . October 12, 2011 . 2:50am

bravec1Brave Company, not to be confused with Bravely Default: Flying Fairy from Square Enix, is a hero management simulation. Players interview and hire heroes to go out on quests.

Two of the heroes, actually heroines, are Namco cameos. Valkyrie from The Legend of Valkyrie series and the fox girl Xiamou from Namco X Capcom are for hire in Brave Company.

Brave Company has the usual wizards and warriors plus a few oddball classes. You can hire cooks who carry a giant frying pan to attack monsters with and wear aprons as armor. These warriors can cook monsters as their finishing blow. Accountants are equipped with a suit, abacus, and a wad of bills. Accounts attack with the power of money and can trick enemies with a phony contract that temporarily boosts your heroes.

Brave Company comes out on October 27 in Japan.
