Fate/Extra Coming Next Tuesday, Which Servant Will You Select?

Fate/Extra is on its way care of Aksys games. The PSP role playing game will be available on November 1. The story begins with your character (male or female) unsure of where and who they are. You get to select a servant to accompany you on your journey either:

 

  • Saber who has well balanced abilities and is quite skilled with a sword even though she’s 4’9"
  • Archer who specializes in using ranged weapons like bows, but may have hidden potential
  • Caster, a vindictive, but loyal servant who is master of spells and an amateur with weapons

 

If all the information I had were these screenshots, I think I would have to pick Archer since one of his skills dealt 43,703 points of damage, but I’d pick Saber out of the three. You?

    Well I preordered the other day, in spite of having little knowledge of the series it originated, the game looked really fun and couldn’t resist.

    I’m going with Saber because I want to be balanced for the first playthrough then I’ll choose Caster.

      I’m pretty much in the same boat. I barely know anything about the Fate universe, but I pre-ordered it. I’m planning on doing all three playthroughs, but Saber seems to be the best starting choice.

    Definitely Caster. I like her personality and her loyalty. Plus, I’m a Chiwa Saito fan.

    I hope enough people buy this to encourage Aksys to release CCC.

    When I played the japanese version, I chose Caster.
    She is the cutest kitsune I’ve ever seen, and has a pretty funny personality to that. Her voice is super cute too.
    I also chose Archer, but only for fun and to see UBW in this game, nothing else.
    I never really liked the original Saber, and Saber in this game isn’t anything better too, so I didn’t even give her a chance.

    Same as I did in the JPN version Saber..Oh boy its going to be fun fighting Roygi and Arcueid again. :P

    I’ll probably start with Saber, then go with Archer and the last one will be Caster. ^^
    P.S. : I never watched, read or played anything from the Fate series, so I don’t even know them. :P

    I personally think Archer’s theme/battle style/history/Noble Phantasm (UBW) were the best in Fate/Stay Night so I was thinking of going with him first, but now all you guys are making me want to go for cute lil Caster.

    I go with the scaling level of difficulty, meaning Saber, Archer then finally Caster. Sorry Caster, wait for me… For Protagonist, I’ll alternate between the male and female, starting and ending with the male (being a guy and all).

    Preordered the L.E. for me and for one of my friends, I can’t wait to play this game :) I hope Aksys is able to localize CCC too, if the first game’s sales aren’t horrible.

    Hmmmm, hard choice. I guess I’ll probably go with Archer and female protagonist. Maybe a second playthrough with Saber.

    The fujoshi in me demands at least one play with maleMC and Archer. Other then that I may just start out with Saber since everyone seems to say she is the easiest and I identify with her height-wise. =D

    I’ll definitely choose the Male but, I’m having a hard time choosing whether I’m going to choose caster or saber?

    I’ll go with ARCHER~~~ ^0^ (I made a lot of omake of him and the female protagonist~~~)
    Satisfied with Fate/tiger colosseum (include UPPER) now I WILL face Fate/EXTRA!!

    I just brought my PSP recently only for this game (not really actually… Tee-hee)
