Square Enix Creating 4 Vs. 4 Arcade Game With Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Dev

Square Enix Creating 4 Vs. 4 Arcade Game With Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. DevSquare Enix is joining the news teasing club this week, but their announcement isn’t about a console title. The publisher is working on a 4 vs. 4 action game with online multiplayer support.

 

The arcade project is a collaboration with ByKing. Who’s ByKing, you say? An Akihabara based video game developer run by Shinichiro Obata. They worked with Namco Bandai on Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. and created a free iPhone game called Chicken Run.

 

We won’t hear about the project until January 11, 2012… unless Famitsu gets a look at it first.

    I’ve never heard of Byking before, but if they have something to do with the Gundam VS series, then this will be a very interesting project.

    I will not find it hard to believe if @TAITOCorp:twitter supplied hardware for this upcoming 4 vs 4 arcade game.

    Also, I wonder if it’s just gonna be including chars from EIDOS and Taito.
