Ubisofts PlayStation Vita Action RPG Is A Launch Game, Too

Last year, Ubisoft announced a game titled Dungeon Hunter: Alliance for the PlayStation Vita. This is a 4-player co-op action RPG that was previously released on the PlayStation 3, and has now been ported to Vita as a launch game.

Well, sort of. Ubisoft are actually releasing Dungeon Hunter: Alliance on February 14th, a week before the Vita’s official launch. In fact, they’re doing this with all of their Vita launch titles, which they say they’ll detail in the days to come.

Dungeon Hunter: Alliance will allow you to play with up to three other players either via local wireless or online. Vita-specific features include touchscreen controls, which let you tap the screen to pick up items or zoom the game’s camera in and out. The rear touch panel is used to control your fairy and perform spells, and you can also shake your Vita to counter rival curses.

You can watch an early trailer for Dungeon Hunter: Alliance released last year here.

Since they’re releasing First Edition PS Vita on the 15th, any smart publisher that has a finished game will have their games out on that day.  Good job Ubisoft!

Is this game long enough? as in big on stuff to do or places or quests… (and maybe even main story)? since it seems a lot like baldur’s gate (dark alliace was the one i played), i liked it, but i felt it was too small/short

Well technically it’s around 9-11 hour game especially the route is kinda linear although you can return to previous townsmaps and do some equipment farmings, side quest but those quest are just so few and once you have 3 or higher level gap from your enemies, you won’t get any xp anymore. The game can be extended on the second run as difficulty goes higher thus IRCC, new equipment sets and the level cap has been raised from its capped level 45 at normal difficulty to around 70 for harder difficulty which is also a trophy for this game.

Well still fun though if you like RPG games especially if you play this game with more people.

It looks like it would fit the Vita more than the PS3 anyway.

On one hand, this game looks like fun and definitely like something I’d enjoy.

    On the other, it’s Ubisoft.

Could be worse. Could be Capcom or Activision.
