starwarsLucasfilm registered a bunch of domain names like,, and last week. While there is some speculation about a possible Star Wars film, the Star Wars 1313 trademark is tied to video games.

On May 1, Lucasfilm filed a Star Wars 1313 trademark with the USPTO, which was released on the website late Saturday night. The trademark is for use with video game software, computer game software, books containing puzzles and games, action figures, on-line entertainment services for computer and video games, and online social network services.

The Star Wars 1313 trademark classification is not for films or TV shows.

Lucasfilm filed a similar trademark back in 2006 for The Force Unleashed, which was developed into a video game.

Earlier this year, Lucasarts was hiring an online game specialist that would, according to the company, "revolutionize the industry." The Star Wars 1313 trademark covers online services and social networking services, which fits the job description. One of the job requirements was first party certification for Sony and Microsoft, which suggests the project is for consoles.

      EA bought, then killed, Pandemic.

Now I’m going to go fire up Battlefront and weep.

  • Star Wars 1313, set in medieval Star Wars.

    •  Yeah, back when Plastic was only used for bottles and cups, before it was mass-produced for standard Military Uniform.

  • A quick check of Wookieepedia says the only thing that happens around 1313 BBY is Darth Bane (Who doesn’t do anything but get abused by his father till 16) is born 13 years before that.

1313 ABY is more in the future than any work has covered, though it does bring to mind that old rumor about how after the 6 existing films were 3Dized, Lucas would make a new trilogy set 1000 years after the OT

(CT-1313 also an Alias of Boba Fett in one book, but eh)

    It’s not Gladius 2 though, so I don’t really give a damn.

Do we really know this is for PS3 and X360?
It could have something to do with their next consoles, or even PSV.
