  • I’m very tempted to get the Miku Vita.

    • Peace Legacy

      We all are

      • not me. I don’t buy an item because it has miku on it.

        • rebecasunao

          Same here…

    • I would but I already own a Vita…

    • Kevadu

I’m more then tempted, I have  been actively trying to find somewhere to order one for weeks.  Preorders are completely sold out everywhere.  I’ve seen some on eBay for 3-4 times list price…good luck.

  • Kai2591

I’m curious to know who illustrated the Miku art on the Vita skin and back cover.

    • PoweredByHentai

I believe KEI is the artist that you are looking for.

      • According to Andriasang,
Kei did the main package illustration. The other illustration, I don’t know.

        • PoweredByHentai

Which illustration are you unsure of?  The one on the Miku Vita’s back?

Because that seems to be something from KEI as well.

          • Oh, okay. They looked different to me, I guess. The one on the cover looks more, uh, moe~, but that’s just me.

          • PoweredByHentai

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are other artists at Crypton Future Media, but since it is about Miku, I would assume that any art on Miku within the company would have to get KEI’s approval in some form or at least have a certain baseline design.

          • rebecasunao

The cover is by KEI, the Miku on Vita’s back and the… poster? were done by iXima: http://www.jp.playstation.com/psvita/crystalwhite/miku/8tnu0100001p3n91-att/8tnu0100001p3nap.png

            http://miku.sega.jp/info/ )
I don’t think KEI would be able to draw Miku in a completely different style, or anything with soft lines in a dynamic position.

          • Kai2591

This is the answer I’ve been looking for~
Man I’m a sucker for these fine arts :)

oh and thanks for those links ;)

          • PoweredByHentai

Ah, I got the artists confused.  Thanks!

          • rebecasunao

            @Khai2591:disqus You’re welcome! :3

          • rebecasunao

@PoweredByHentai:disqus No problem! I could tell it wasn’t KEI because I’ve seem a bunch of his artworks and no offense but they all look the same. He can’t really change his art/coloring style.

          • PoweredByHentai

Well, he found his niche.  If he’s happy with that style then that’s all good and whatnot.

      • Kai2591

KEI illustrated the game cover art only; this I already know. I meant the art on the screen protector and back of the Vita; they’re not KEI’s art style.

        • PoweredByHentai

That would be iXima then.  I knew I was forgetting something until rebecasunao mentioned it.

  • Hoshi星

How much does that bundle cost already???

  • s07195

I see it’s E3 already, as there are a ton of new articles and it’s hell waiting for my PC to load Siliconera.

  • Ace.Of Hearts♥

MIIKUUU~~ wonder if I can get it in Australia??? :D *hmms and I haven’t got a Vita yet as well… Santa I’ve been good ALL year please get me this for Christmas!

  • I’ll just buy the game.

  • AndyFe

It’s interesting to see the difference in culture through the gaming industry, the west gets an Assassins Creed white bundle while the east gets this one. I personally would get this one if i didn’t have a Vita already.

  • enorka miho

Off topic.. Where is my FFX PSVita? LOL..

  • cj_iwakura

This should’ve been at Sony’s conference.

    • Kevadu

Why ould they show something they’re not even releasing in the west at an E3 conference?

      • cj_iwakura

It should be released in the west!

  • AzureNova

O_O! If I can change it so that the X button is the enter button, then I will get this one instead of the Assassins Creed bundle. If not, then I will just import the game then lol

    • XiaomuArisu

Sometimes im slow…your talking about touching her boobs, right?
BTW love that miku pic and your new aviXD

      • AzureNova

No lol. I actually meant to be able to change the button configs because its a Japanese Vita and I know how the O button is usually the enter button in Japan. My friend has a Japanese PS3 and the O button is the enter button on that as well.

Also, glad you like the new avatar ^_^

        • XiaomuArisu

           Oh….looks like im a perv….
well I dont have a vita but doesnt the psp ask you which language you speak?
          a)English=X enter
          b)Jap=O enter
Of course would be nice if someone who has a vita could confirm it.

          • AzureNova

My friend has the language on his PS3 already changed to English, but the O button still remains to be enter. Not sure if he left it that way or if you can change it though lol

  • Brandonmkii

Play-Asia stopped taking pre-orders on it, and ami ami doesn’t do system. Anyone know where I can s till pre-order this?

  • christopher martinez
    • Sevyne

Yeah, I just saw a video showing of it at E3. I’m quite shocked that one may be getting a US release. Never thought that would happen, but I absolutely intend to get it.

    • superdry

According to the comments, it was just a demo on show at E3 (no plans yet).  It would be really cool if SEGA did bring it over.  I can’t really see it as retail game – maybe either through online stores or as a download.

August can’t come soon enough for the Japanese release though.

  • Nerroth

It might not amount to anything in the long run, but SCEA did add this to their recent PS Vita Sizzle video:

(They even went and gave the person playign the game themed gloves; note that certain other games in that video, such as Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation have similar gloves shown, too.)
