Atelier Ayesha Looks Like She Wouldn’t Mind A Fetch Quest

By Spencer . June 8, 2012 . 5:40pm

The latest video of Atelier Ayesha: Alchemist of the Ground of Dusk shows Ayesha frolicking in a flower field while collecting alchemy ingredients. She looks pretty happy too! Maybe that’s why everyone in town asks her to gather materials to alchemize items.

Atelier Ayesha comes out on June 28 in Japan.

Beautiful! Just wish they’d do better with the events.

Always nice to see an Atelier Ayesha video ^_^

I think the Alchemist of Twilight Land (or at least, Alchemist of the Land of Twilight) is the proper translation; especially considering the official site’s newspaper says “Twilight Citizen Newspaper”.

That aside though (such minor details, hehe), I’m loving everything we’ve seen so far. Even the small bits I’ve been disappointed with haven’t had any downfall – they just weren’t what I was expecting/wanting the most. The characters, exploration, battle system and music are all seeming to be most exceptional and fantastic.

I really can’t wait until the game comes out~. I kind of doubt that I’ll be able to import it, but I might try to! And I really hope/can’t wait for it to come out here. I hope it does very well in all regions. ♥

edit dechu~n : Do the Arland games include dual audio?

    • yalissa

All the Arland games have dual audio~

      • puchinri

        Awwesome~! Thanks for the info!
Totes love your Regina icon too. >u<

    • 黄昏 (tasogare) can be translated as twilight or dusk. Personally I’d go with twilight too though because of the dying world type of setting since twilight is often used to refer to the end of something (the twilight of civilisation or twilight of life for example).

      • puchinri

Yeah, I checked the kanji again to be sure. Though wiki said twilight, and the official site also uses twilight, so I figured it was definitely the most appropriate.

        • Yep, twilight is pretty much ‘official’, dusk just doesn’t work in context.

  • guyssss that newspaper is in english.
/unless i can now magically read japanese.
looking more likely it’ll be localized if they went to the trouble of making sure the art work was english.

    • Actually Japan just loves using random English in things, loading screens and various menus will often have English in them along with the regular Japanese text, doesn’t mean anything.

      • yalissa

Actually. I paused the video to actually read the newspaper. The English is pretty much… flawless. Other than the random capitalization on the left hand side of the article, yeah.

        • which is why i was curiousss. i’m used to menu button and skill phrases but not an entire story article which is pretty important to the background of the game.

          • Don’t forget that English is a foreign language to them. Putting an article in a newspaper in English makes it more foreign/alien in the same way as making up an alphabet does (like Vesperia’s or Xillia’s).

  • yalissa

Excuse me while I go and cry because I won’t be able to play this any time soon.

  • Tomoya Miyazaki

Hmm… I might be wrong but are there no events with portraits anymore?

    • FitzpatrickPhillips

      Nope. It’s all 3D now.

  • FitzpatrickPhillips

lol’d at her calling him that.
I think I’ll hold off on importing like planned. While playing Meruru, the events get to be so much that even I get tired of reading all that in english. Couldn’t imagine getting bombarded with events like that in japanese. Haven’t decided though.

I think I love Keith. Full homo.
