I hope this game gets released soon.

  • puchinri

I’m really looking forward to this game~! The general look and atmosphere just feel like a lot of fun, and the story is straight-forward enough so far. I hope it gets a release in the other regions~. ♥

    Everytime I look at this game, all I can think about is GameCube for some reason. I don’t think it’s just the cellshaded graphics either, there is something about the aesthetics of the game that just reminds me of it. Either way makes me very reminiscent of the GameCube >w<;;

    • I feel the same way. This game feels like a Gamecube title. Something like what Capcom would’ve released back in 2005 for the system. Not that this is a bad thing though. I enjoy many more Gamecube games than I did any other system.

    • ParaChomp

      Viewtifiul Joe?

    • Anesia Hunter

It’s those thick outlines I think. It kind of reminds me of how Tales of Symphonia looked and Viewtiful Joe had those outlines too I think.

thats not a bad thing sure lost planet its not that amazing franchise but somehow this kind of differentiation between the franchise could either revitalize this or branch out into new franchise.

It could be a deesperate attempt but its 50/50 it could work out if it fail nothing its lose neither, the game itself looks ok and the graphics in 3ds looks ok

  • Now NEVEC the good guy? Or is this another “Heck I am just a guy working 4 money shounen style”?

Still can’t decide is manga-style ok or not, but it looks good.

  • LittleMofreaky

    I’ll get the 3DS one.

    • XypherCode

I’m stil not sure if I’ll get the 3DS version for the cool 3D effect or PS3 version for the HD.
      Maybe both? XD

      • LittleMofreaky

Let’s just say I’m getting it for the “sharp” 2D effect. ;)

      • Preference really. I like handhelds more so hopefully the 3DS version is good.

  • SirRichard

    – Young protagonist
    – Some sort of warrior/soldier in training
    – Goes to a big school for this
    – “Driven”, i.e. hot-blooded, doesn’t think before doing things
    – Aims to be THE VERY BEST

    Yeah, that sounds about right.

Definitely looking like it could be fun, still debating which platform I’m getting it on. Probably 3DS, that might be the one they’re pushing.

I seriously want an US confirmation for this game, especially since Siliconera reported back in Dec. the name of the game was trademarked in the US & Europe.

  • Shadowman

I want this game release in the west asap

  • Kai2591

    wow textbook shounen hot-blooded protagonist.
Why can’t they just use a cool calculating intelligent guy with long silver/white hair with glasses who doesn’t care if he’s the top or not, for once?

    lol just kidding.

    • puchinri

Well, we do have the guy with silver/white hair that looks cool, intelligent and maybe calculating. But his hair is short and he has no glasses. He would make a pretty fun protag too~.

Personally, I’d like a somewhat hot-blooded but very relaxed and cool femme protag~. Or more girls like Ayesha, but with a bit more spunk. They’d be fun for protags, especially in games like this. (Which is why I wish the Rinne no Langrange game was just some random mecha RPG for the anime and not playing through the show.)

      • Kai2591

“his hair is short and he has no glasses”?
        who are you referring to?

A likeable female protagonist like that is nice too; a nice change for action games like this where males are prominent. But I think I prefer the protagonist to be male.

        • puchinri

          This guy here~.

For this, I actually really like Brenn so far, so I wouldn’t trade him. But if I did, it would definitely be for a female protagonist.

    • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Umm….. i think that cool calculating guy that u mention here is also used to death lol.

      • Kai2591

Really? lol maybe I haven’t noticed that trend.

    • The protag resembles Natsu frm FT, don’t you think?

      • Kai2591

hmm yeah you’re right, he does…

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

I will probably went for 3DS version here.^^ Considering it will allow me to play with most of my friend together lol.^^

  • neetyneety

So we have this for 3DS, and Soul Sacrifice for Vita… maybe I don’t need to play Monster Hunter after all?

  • isfuturebright

Hope this comes to the US! Fingers crossed :D
