If You Like Bowling Bears, You’re Going To Love Aksys’ Crazy Strike Bowling

By Spencer . August 22, 2012 . 11:33am

Siliconera first heard about Crazy Strike Bowling when we met at Aksys with E3. This anime-style bowling game lets you bowl on the Great Wall of China, serene Japanese gardens, and ancient pyramids… with a bear! He’s one of the six customizable characters in Crazy Strike Bowling.

Crazy Strike Bowling is available now as a PlayStation Network download. The $14.99 game requires PlayStation Move.

    … Well, that’s something I didn’t expect to see from these guys…

I’m not playing a bowling game where the designers can’t even be bothered to have the characters even pretend like they know how to bowl.

“Let me just palm this bowling ball…”

    • I think you’re taking this game way too seriously…

Hot Shots Bowling.  Kind of surprised no one thought of this sooner to be honest.

    • Previous article I called it Pangya: Bowling Edition.

I’d like to support Aksys but I don’t have or plan to get a Move :(

  • “Wow, I’ll be getting this bowling game the day it comes out!” said no one ever.

And yet this is the same sports game concept that led to Wii Sports, Hot Shots, the Family Sports games and Mario Sports. Get something together that just about anyone can play regardless of any video game knowledge or experience.

I would be surprised if more than a few of our posters and visitors hadn’t downloaded this already.

Looks fun, but not worth buying a Playstation Move for.
