I going to die so badly this time…..not that I mind that much.

It looks so good… but $15…

I might wait for a sale.

    • MrRobbyM

Same. I know it’s supposedly a pretty big expansion but $15 is a bit much for a year old game that I’ve already beaten countless times.

  • October 23rd… Just in time for Halloween, I guess. Actually, while the timing seems rather late, it doesn’t seem that bad of an idea: The expansion gives the game a jolt of interest and lifespan – and maybe even some new customers who have been waiting for a price-cut.

Speaking of which, that was around the time when I started playing Demon’s Souls about two years ago. A complete beginner, right in the middle of the Pure Black World Tendency week, trying to get past that Black Phantom Red-eye Knight…

Oh yes, the memories. I guess my experience in Demon’s Souls helped in making me feel quite at ease with the combat in Dark Souls… but not with the open world. The lack of any kind of directions almost put me off the game, until I resorted to a walkthrough.

While I like hard games as much as anybody else, I think that’s something From should consider for their next title. A slight bit more of player guidance wouldn’t hurt anyone, and wouldn’t make the combat itself any easier, while making the game a bit more accessible.

Anyway, I’m so getting this DLC, unless some site discounts the PC version to the same price (or lower) before October 24th…

Can’t wait for the DLC. Got really invested into Dark Souls and ended up goign back and getting Demons Souls. Actually jsut beat Dragon God for the first time about 5 minutes before typing this :D.

Anyways, now that the content has been available for the PC version for some time now, can anyone give me an idea of how much content there is? What area/areas is it comparable to as far as length? Is it comparable to saay, the third section of the game after gaining the Lordvessel?

October has just been steadily getting better and better, it’s basically the best month for releases this year. Feel seriously sorry for my wallet, though.

Yeah, I almost sold my soul to the devil…

Man I can’t wait to play Dark Souls again; Haven’t played the game since I got the Platinum, but this should give more replay value. Just knock the price down a couple of bucks

    • i also haven’t played it since platinum in november 2011 but couldn’t resist and got the pc version, with my dualshock hooked up via bluetooth it’s pretty good playing it 1080p on my 46 inch tv :)
will be getting the dlc too because i have everything to the max there

But then, will the 1.06 patch be free for people who choose not to purchase it?
