After acquiring Midway, Warner Bros. pulled arcade games like Root Beer Tapper and Gauntlet II off Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, respectively. Those games and twenty other quarter eaters are bundled in the Backbone Entertainment developed Midway Arcade Origins. Here’s the list of games you can get on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 for $29.99:

Where’s Mortal Kombat, NARC or Primal Rage? I guess Warner Bros. is saving those for another collection. There were three or those or something like that for the last generation of consoles.

Yeah Midway Treasures.  I have volume 2 which had Mortal Kombats mixed in.  I like the 3rd volume which was all racing games like Hydro Thunder and Rush.

Given the name would this mean games pre-MK?  SNK did a volume 0 which was pre-Neo Geo so I figure same situation.

I was wondering where retro collection was going to come back. I hope Square-Enix releases a Taito collection to follow.
