    • tubers

YES!! xD No offense to the fans of those models though.. I just found them very uncanny valley-ish :D

  • Himiko

redjuice continues to do amazing art.

And looks just as good as the VITA version.

Linkage. That isn’t meant to be what I… think it’s meant to be. Is it?

    • Demeanor

Miku looks like a Chrome Reyvateil in that module! Awesome! ^ ^ I wonder if THAT was their intent XD

The Vita/PSP version models look sooo much better. Miku and the gang look so weird in Dreamy Theater

  • Chrystofax

Wow “Linkage” the name and look kinda reminds me of Ar Tonelico, Looking forward to getting this

    • Kai2591

      My thoughts exactly :)
      Coincidence?

  • Exia Rage

Wish they make it into dlc for the Hatsune Miku Project Diva f PSVITA version.

    • Xerain

I’m guessing they will. Expect to pay for it though. The PS3 version costs substantially more than the vita version, so the extra songs are to help smooth that over. (In addition to bring the song count up to 39.)

  • Pokahontas McGuigan

i hope they come out with a dreamy theatre bluray collection, i really dont wanna buy a psp just to play DT

  • CirnoLakes

    SEGAAAA…. why can’t we have these games?;_;

    • Xerain

The vita and PS3 are region free, so we do have these games. Though int eh case of the vita version I wish I could access DLC And the edit data server while earning trophies on my US PSN account. I guess that’s a bit much to ask for, though.

      • CirnoLakes

Well, if you count that, we also have games that are region locked. All we have to do is own a Japanese region system. Though obviously a lack of region lock is a grand, grand great deal better than having region lock.

But it still isn’t quite the same as “having it” officially. It would be nice to see the game officially localized.

        • Xerain

Yes if it came out here it would certainly be nice. It would surely be much more convenient as I already implied.

However, in the scheme of things the barrier for obtaining and enjoying these games is quite low. Do you want this game at least twice as much as some locally released game? If ‘yes’ no problem. Even if you don’t know basic kana there’s still pictures on all the menu items. The games are mostly* enjoyable by someone literate to any language ever written, assuming the person likes Japanese vocaloid music.

*Edit mode historically has been a pain to navigate, even if you can read some Japanese. I heard edit mode has been improved in the -f series but I haven’t tried it yet, as I’ve only own a vita fora couple days despite owning the game since launch.

          • CirnoLakes

I want these games to be localized for much the same reasons as I want most Tales games to be localized. While it helps to have English menus and things, I mostly want the sales and accessibility that brings.

I don’t want this game to just be an import hit. I want it to be an official American and European game.

I’m already planning to buy all of the Japanese games anyway. I just wish they would be localized.

          • Xerain

I agree, I’m just nit picking while spreading the word of how accessible they are. I guess what I’m saying is I think said accessibility may very well be one of the reasons none of them have been localized yet.

I think the odds of the -f series crossing the pond are higher than previous installments. This mainly comes in light of SEGA’s statements about -f not profiting as anticipated given the cost of development. Assuming all they do is translate menu text, program new romaji lyrics for the songs, and sell the game digital only, a game that is fun and good swimming in a sea of crappy after-though titles might be just what the doctor ordered to recoup some finances.

However, licensing issued from the myriads of creators who’s works are featured in the game will be a huge deciding factor. Content may have to be cut or replaced, and if people have to be paid a second time the costs are going to be substantially higher than merely translating and paying Sony a ton of money to put it up on the PSN. Perhaps too high.

Am I the only one who read SEGAAA with hatsune miku’s voice in my head?

  • http://animereviews.co/ Nadav

Wait, I’m seeing the Project Diva watermark in the upper-right corner. Does that mean we will be able to take snapshots and use them as PS3 wallpapers? Because that would be way more cool than it was on the PSP.

  • Tianyu Wei

omg… that Redjuice costume should definitely get a cross-over in PSO2…
