So, the Murakumo defeated the dragons from outer space that invaded Tokyo in 7th Dragon 2020. After a year of peace passed and a new group of dragons descended on Tokyo and covered the city with a black flame. The world, once again, is covered in poisonous flowers, but landmarks like the Tokyo Sky Tree aren’t affected.

The Murakumo’s secret weapon are idols with S-rank charisma!

I love how Sony consoles keep the heat even after their successor comes out.

So does that mean there are gender-specific skills? If so, wow.

    • puchinri

To me, it seems more like a reflection of “different idol types” than specifically being about the gender. (Like say, the expectations, niches and such of a female idol vs a male idol; like AKB0048 vs Uta no Prince-sama.)

“The female idol has a skill that hits enemies with giant sound waves.”

I’m guessing dragons aren’t j-pop fans? My buddies always tell me that the music is physically painful for them to listen to as well.

So I must not be a dragon. Shame.

Or maybe nice dragons enjoy Jpop.

    Yuno is that you???

Tokyo really don’t get a break do they?

So we can use JPOP to save the world? Awesome.

It’s Luka – calling it now.

  • ekibyougami

first we have a Miku NPC (and BGM) in the first game, then we get Kagamine-like playable characters. And those megapohones…. hnnnggg [Love is War]. And I think that pink-hair is probably a Luka-like character…

    • malek86

      Luka-like? You mean a look-alike?

      …… ok I’ll stop it.

New Dragons? Awesome. Not to say that I’m not expecting old ones to return, but unless they had major changes in their attack patterns (which are already pretty okay as it is), new types would serve as new challenge for those who played the previous game.

    Yup, still fabulous =^_^=

Ha ha, soo the story is basically “so we beat the dudes the last time but the dudes came back so fighty time again!” Not the most original choice, but I am willing to forgive that decision because fabulous, fabulous idols.
