imageFor anyone with a Japan region 3DS that needs a little affection on New Year’s Eve, Konami uploaded New LovePlus just for you. In New LovePlus you can take girls out for dates (literally!) by using AR marker cards. Konami also hid three classic games: Yie Ar Kung-Fu, Twinbee, and Taisen Puzzle dama.

The communication game costs 4,800 yen ($56) on the Nintendo eShop. Users need 1.8 GB (14,400) blocks on their SD card for New LovePlus and up to 600 MB (4,800 blocks) for save data.

Did they fix all those bugs? I remember this game had a lot of problems at launch.

Did you have the 1st release of the 3DS or the 2nd release? ‘Cause the 1st release had some bugs, if I’m correct.

  • The Love Plus LE 3DSes at Konami Style in Roppongi now seem like a bargain at 17000 Yen.
