From that point on, she follows our spirit sealing hero on a daily basis. She has an easy going personality and often likes to meddle in Shido’s affairs.

  • “Save mankind by going on dates” Yup, that sounds about right.

  • Leon_Tekashi

Why am I getting a persona vibe from this?

    • MrTyrant

Where? in what part? doesn’t sound like persona at all.

      • Leon_Tekashi

Well in Persona, you form social links by going out with people to get stronger and to be able to gain the strength to stop something. This game is sorta similar.

        • JustThisOne

I.. I guess in that sense. It seems a bit of a stretch, but I see where you’re going.

        • MrTyrant

Old personas weren’t like that and the new ones this “bond” it’s more a gameplay mechanic and just by the end of the game (final boss) you use those bonds as a cheap plot device to power up your character and stop the evil.

This game say that each girl is like treat for the world and you have to make them fall in love to stop them because your main character can control spirits. Im still not seeing the similarities. If it’s for dating girls Persona is not the first one and dating them is not important for the main story, you can still save the world like any other RPG using the power of friendship and being a beta xDD

  • SoulEmbrace2010

To save the world, take girls out on date, huh? And I thought I heard to all when it comes to Japan. Looking forward to the anime.

  • DesmaX

How I’m seeing where this plot going:

“Alright, this one is sealed. Time for another one”

“Are you going to leave me?”

“Yeah, lol. I don’t need you anymore”

    • piichan

Persona 4 Protagonist taught him well.

    • Looks like some1 is using TWGOK as a valid dating advice :P

    • shuratan

Nay my friend, this is just the preparations to super Harem Plan.

  • Flandre Scarlet

“Guy must get girls to fall in love with him while looking very uninteresting.”

Haven’t seen this plot before, no sir.

    • If DaL can handle it as well as TWGOK, why not?

      • MrTyrant

I would like it if the main character is as cool headed as the mc in TWGOK and if the girls have a good plot when you go for one of them.

        • I just found the LN of it so expect a short post abt it at the OT soon(ish)!

  • Adol Christin is a Handome Man

Is it too late to jump into this discussion with an overplayed “My body is ready.” Because if it is, I’m gonna be super sad…

  • MrSirFeatherFang

From what I know about the Light Novel, the sister plays an important part in the story (not going to mention because of spoilers).
I guess there’s no mentioning of her yet…

  • The World God Only Knows – The Game?

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Ohhh. I just read the manga here and it does look interesting.^_^
Dating with a spirit to save the world lol.^_^

    • So is the manga fun/OK? The comment section on the manga is a Like vs BLAH discussion….

      • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Well, it is all depending to your taste here. I here kinda like the manga especially the art here.^_^

  • If the art looks familiar to any of you, but can’t seem to put a finger on it. It’s the same artist from Neptunia =)

    • Now tht you mention it Rinne does kinda look like Nep-nep….

  • Pythia Brixham

I seriously need to learn Japanese faster…

  • Raltrios

MC looks so boring, and the ‘solution’ to the dilemma is a real stretch. There’d better be a solid reason for why they need to love him before he can seal their powers.

At least the art and female character designs are appealing.

    • MrTyrant

Isn’t the same character designer from Neptunia? *she* draw very well, I like that and pleased with a datim sim made by him if not were because they decide to give us a boring mc.

      • farios

        Tsunako is a female

        • MrTyrant

Ok I’ll give you one vote for correct me D: I wasn’t aware of that.

  • Man, I love Tsunako’s character designs. The anime isn’t going to do them justice.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this game’s mechanics. At best, I’m hoping for a VN-style dating sim + classic Sting mish-mash of game genres and dynamic yet inscrutable user interface.

  • The girl with yellow eye reminds me of BRS doing a headtilt…… lol.

If this is the closest we get for TWGOK game… sign me up XD I hope the MC is as good as Keima….

  • kaizin

wow the manga of this is good now a game cant wait to see gameplay of this.

  • TatsuyaKyo

So, the default end is a Harem End? Do want.

  • Tianyu Wei

Sounds like The World God Only Knows lol…

    • MrTyrant

Mmmmh that’s a little more accurate when I think about it.

  • Prinnydoom

I am getting a yandere vibe from Rinne.
