  • This game……………….. AWESOME.

  • This game will KILL ME <3

  • Keima88

    Day one buy.

    *wipes his nose*

What is this… There is blood?!

  • $39420547

i love suda51 style i hope this turns out as good as it looks also i would like for him to returns to NMH at some point

  • Rudy Soto

Something about Mondo running across the moon with nothing but a space helmet is just hilarious.

And Mondo must be the world’s worst haggler.

    • JustThisOne

They’ll totally see him moonwalking from a mile away. *__* There’s nooo esscaaaaaape!

  • puchinri

This game is pretty, but at the same time, it just looks too glossy. . .?
It reminds me of the NMH ports, which were just so red-filtered looking. It’s hard to really admire the game because of that.

    • It does look like it has a layer of sticky plastic filter on it at all times.

    • Asura

I feel like it works in-game, but for cutscenes is just awkward.

      • puchinri

Yeah, that’s a good way of putting it, actually.

  • JustThisOne

I was just about to write off this game for the first couple of seconds, thinking: “Aww man. Is this game seriously only about the Bondo girls?” But then I saw a that short clip of awesome colourful gameplay, and I’m reinterested. :3 Why did I ever doubt you, Killer is Dead.

These kinds of games make me love cell shading so much.

  • hey everyone on here video game next is giving away a free copy of animal crossing new leaf the info is on their facebook page check it out here!/VideoGameNext

  • wererat42

    Gigolo Class

  • They’ve totally got the style down, I’m just praying that the game behind that style is of equal quality.

  • Solomon_Kano

I totally just realized that the Japanese probably say Bond as “Bondo” which rhymes with Mondo. Clever, Suda. Clever.

And there’s a mansion on the moon where Mondo has to go assassinate somebody. How awesome is that!?

  • Asura

As spectacular as that scene of him running across the moon with the well-chosen music was…

…The character-based plot still looks like vapid harem fantasy-fulfillment rather than some interesting exploration of psyches.

    • DemonKingAsura

Maybe it doesn’t have to be and just has to be something, like, you know, fun?

      • “Fun” doesn’t really say anything, especially when it’s used to refer to individual preferences/receptions. I’ve had “fun” with various games in the past too; that doesn’t say anything about them (quality, polish, how mechanics work together) beyond the fact that I didn’t mind my experience with them (at the very least).

      • Asura

Vapid harem fantasy fulfillment is not fun – hence the problem.

    • Alberto Maytorena

It’s goichi suda, expect a deconstruction of bond films.

      • amagidyne

After Lollipop Chainsaw, how can anyone know what to expect from him? They pretty much just remade Oneechanbara.

        • DemonKingAsura

You do realize it was James gunn that was the main writer, you know?

      • Asura

Back in the day I would. Right now Suda does not have my trust in his ability to weave compelling narratives, and I’ve seen completely nothing as of yet that would suggest otherwise, despite how much as I wanted to.

If the plot turns out great and actually is a successful attempt at Bond deconstruction, count me the hell on board! The advertisements do not tip in this direction though.

Xseed’s released a dubbed version as well:

  • This looks like one of those items that will be sold in tandem with a sin tax

  • Richard N

You had me at that thumbnail…

  • gamefreak86

Day one. As someone who sadly missed out nmh, what is the general consensus when it comes to that games versions. Should I grab the Wii versions or ps3 version?

  • xzeldax3

    Injection Fairy Lily!

  • Scallion

I’m still floored by how elegantly they’ve combined elements from past Suda games into this one. Suda 51 is probably one of gaming’s first true auteurs.

  • XypherCode

    Dem girls!

  • Gigolo glasses. Awesome!

  • NimbusStev

I absolutely love the art style in Suda51 games. I’ve never really gotten into the gameplay of any of them, but man are those games pretty.
