By Spencer . May 16, 2013 . 2:30pm

Level-5 just gave diehard Little Battlers eXperience fans a reason to buy The Little Battlers W again. The Nintendo 3DS version, The Little Battlers W Super Custom, includes a LBX illustrated encyclopedia built into the game.

The digital encyclopedia has detailed information about the LBXes, pictures of the plastic model packaging, and unreleased rare illustrations to see.

The Little Battlers W Super Custom also has LBXes from the next LBX series, The Little Battlers Wars. Level-5 will release the game in Japan on June 27.

So when do we get a confirmation for this to the west? If inazuma eleven can get here, I dont see how this awesome game can fail here. I mean come on its robots. (Medabots was very popular here in the Netherlands for example)

Apparently the Anime’s all ready for a TV airing in the US and EU and they’re just looking for a station to pick it up, and Bandai America’s got both an original toyline and the Japanese model kits all ready to release over here as well once the anime gets picked up. I read they’re expecting to have it all ready this Fall.

The game will likely follow soon after, either thanks to Namco or Level-5 themselves.

Seriously? That’s good news if they do bring it over.

You seem to always post good stuff about LBX. Thank you for the hope bro.

I’m just a pretty big fan of Little Battlers, Inazuma Eleven and Level-5 to some extent as well. I’ve clocked over 140 hours in LBX Boost, and 150 hours total in W so far between the PSP and Vita versions. I really love these games and really want to see them get more recognition over here, so I try to help share info related to it, including what I know of the games being localized.

And also on the subject, Bandai America has been explicitly mentioning LBX as one of it’s brands in a lot of recent press releases and such, along with Power Rangers and Ben 10.

There’s also them showing off the models at New York Toy Fair a few months back.

Oh man, I wish this had been in the Vita version so I could take screenshots of the concept art. Either way, I think I’ll be picking up Super Custom now.

Wait what did you say on the other post? I know LBX will be having a show in the west and just needs a network to pick it up.

But Inazuma Eleven?! in the west?! really?! I’m happy if that is true.

Said nothing about that, sorry. Just that I’m a fan of IE as well.

That is the classiest robot i’ve ever seen :P

  • Kioku

Good thing that they made anime for the series.
