See Conception II’s Colorful Dungeons And Creative Combat System

By Spencer . June 9, 2013 . 12:00pm

Spike Chunsoft released a teaser video of Conception II and if you can get past the oddball story it’s like a regular RPG. Players go into unusually bright dungeons to fight monsters… with their kids. The combat system is pretty innovative since it focuses on character position. If you’re curious about Conception II you can try the game out on June 11 when Spike Chunsoft releases a playable demo.

Oh well I know this is just a wishful thinking but I would love to see this and the first game on PSP localized:)We need some fresh Vita localizations:)

    • Prinny Dood

We might get it cause they were asking what kind of rpgs we want localized the other day, so there’s hope

      • d19xx

Most of the request made are PSP games though. I hope this game gets their attention too and Senran Kagura.

        • I don’t think Senran Kagura will ever be localized

          • You must have hope my friend lol. Perhaps one day……..

          • Well it’s not that I don’t want it the market it’s coming to has a lot of red tape and I think publishers don’t like dealing with the hassle

    • Solomon_Kano

I’ve given up on getting the first, but I’d definitely like to see this localized. I think it should have a better chance, given it being multplat and 3DS/Vita being more lively.

    • This^ =)

  • Solomon_Kano

Hope he uses those Command Spells wisely…

  • Demeanor

Love when rpgs display damage numbers in such a satisfying way. But… aren’t those girls a lil too young to have children yet? XD Favourite one, favourite one… maybe Cheria-hair, or pink-hair chan.

    • Oscar Alberto Abrego Suarez

They dont have a child, they sync their souls by holding hands and that energy sync is transfered to a Matroshka doll were the golem (The “child”) borns and is ready to kick ass.

By the way they are underage LOOKING but they are at good age so no problem there.

    • Testsubject909

They’re magical childrens. Don’t worry about it.

  • It’s games like this why I have a Japanese 3DS and my Vita linked to a Japanese account. I can’t wait to play this demo ~

    • yo1234

Do you have any idea what you lose when you restore the vita so i can switch accounts? i want to try the demo too lol.

      • The only time I restored my vita was after I first made my purchase, I simply reset my settings and linked my Japanese account. However, I’ve heard its not as simple anymore. I’m fairly certain there are guides lurking around, so it shouldn’t be to hard to do.

Unfortunately, as I’ve already implied, I am unsure as to what the -current- method would be. =/

        • yo1234

Yea. I think i should have hit google up before asking anyways. I’ll try that, thank you.

      • Kevadu

If you keep separate memory cards for your US and JP accounts then you don’t lose anything. It does take a few minutes to switch (have to go through all the first-time-you-started it crap again), but as long as you don’t reformat the Vita while your memory card is *in* it you can just plug the appropriate card for your account back in after you’ve finished the switch and everything is fine.

If you don’t keep a separate memory card, well you’ll have to format the memory card too. Which means you’ll lose everything unless you back it up first.

        • Testsubject909

Backing up the Vita is pretty easy though, just plug the USB to your PC which you’re apparently using and back up the whole thing.

        • yo1234

hmmm unfortunately both my cards are linked to US account. Eh. guess i’ll just buy an 8 gig. i was going to buy another one sooner or later anyways. thank you!

  • TheExile285

Localize this for Vita and 3DS, XSEED. DO IT!!!

    • Testsubject909

      Or Aksys.

      Or NISA…

      Just anyone really.

Edit: I’ll correct myself. Anyone except EA or Activision

  • michel

    too colorful, perhaps…

  • Highasthesky

I personally want this localized on Vita if it’s one or the other, but i own and 3DS also and wouldn’t care either way.

  • I hope the series gets localized soon and I honestly want the game for the Vita more. The Vita just feels nice in my hands =^_^=

    • Testsubject909

I just hope it gets localized period.

But at worst. There’s always importing.

  • Carlos Escalante

Tweet your request for this game to @shahidkamal with #jrpgvita. I already did :).

  • fyi1191

The 3DS version cost more than the VITA version. Isn’t it suppose to be the other way round?

    • Solomon_Kano

You mean on Play-Asia? Not necessarily. I mean, most 3DS games are $40 (really, just about all but SMTIV)… and most Vita games are $40. There are a few $50 games, some $30 games, but most Vita and 3DS games are the same price so that’s just Play-Asia.

  • Lemon

The first one was fun and enjoyable for me. Looking forward to II!

  • Aristides

So where is the localization announcement?

  • I really want to play this. Have to put on my back log list >_<

  • Vash bane

    bad pun time
when it comes down to fighting monsters.
    its a family affair

As much as I love these character designs, that two-tone hair is really bugging me. But she’s still pretty cute.

This one looks a lot more appealing to me, and I hope it does better than the first even~. Hopefully we’ll get this here for both portables!
