Forza Motorsport 5 Learns From You To Create More Human-Like AI

By Ishaan . June 10, 2013 . 10:12am

Microsoft announced new details on Forza Motorsport 5 this morning.

The game is being developed by Turn 10 Studios. New to the game is a feature that enables the game to learn from how you race, and uploads the data to Xbox One’s cloud servers, allowing your friends to race against a simulation of you, rather than regular CPU artificial intelligence.

The AI learning will be able to pick up on your speeds, how you take corners, dirty tricks and more. The feature should make for more human-like AI, Turn 10 said.

Forza Motorsport 5 will be available this November as a launch title for Xbox One.

    Interesting concept. Stupid name.

  • PlayLife

They already did this on the first Forza, but with no online purposes or opponents to beat, instead it used a drivatar to do some races for us.

Sounds like they’re trying to sugarcoat that the AI is going to cheat to stack the game against you.
