Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is coming to Xbox One, Microsoft announced this morning. The game will feature larger maps and more multiplayer features. More news to follow…
Might have to get an Xbox One just for this
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not…
idk, really its on loads of platforms already, so y’know no point of re-repurchasing it. killer instinct on the other hand…
Games like this love being modded, and since the graphics are so simple you don’t need a high end PC to run it, so we have to ask, what is the point?
If you’re a PC gamer, especially one concerned with mods, then there isn’t one.
If you’re a kid with an XBox, on the other hand…
The next gen of gaming… with two gens back quality graphics. They could at least have done something with the textures for this “Xbox ONE version” but thats just my opinion. Maybe it will be unique in some unexpected way – like 16 player or something and i assume the world wont be restricted in size like it is on the 360 version.
This is kind of surprising given Markus’ earlier comments about the Xbox One on Twitter.
“I wanted a game console, not a voice and gesture based tv remote box. :/” – Markus Persson
What a completely waste of time.
Meanwhile, I have my PC version, with maids.
I hope that by larger maps they mean vertically, because I think that the 64 million X 64 million horisontal blocks is quite enough.
Man, and here I thought ‘Minecraft:Xbox One Edition’ would be on the Vita…;P
