This Week In Imports: Atelier Escha & Logy And New HD Trails In The Sky Enchant PS3

By Spencer . June 24, 2013 . 4:05pm

imageGust’s yearly Atelier game debuts this week, but Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky isn’t the only RPG for PlayStation 3. Falcom will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 3rd Kai HD Edition, a HD port of the PSP/PC game. If you purchased the PSP version you can load your save game right into the PS3 release. Tecmo Koei also has Toukiden, a hunting game tied to Japanese mythology, for PSP and Vita.

On our side of the world, Muramasa Rebirth from Aksys and Project X Zone come out tomorrow.

  • Getting both Muramasa and Project X Zone. Can’t wait!

    • gamefreak86

      Gettin both delivered tomorrow :)

  • malek86

Wow, this is a busy week for releases. I think the EO remake won’t sell as much as EO4, but still quite a bit. Perhaps as much or more than Atelier. As for Toukiden, I have a feeling it won’t sell much.

    • Solomon_Kano

Busy indeed. I’m interested in seeing how Decode and Super Custom do. Re:Digitize already did well for itself on PSP, so I wonder if Decode will suffer for it? Same goes for Super Custom. The 3DS ports for LBX haven’t really done anything worthwhile sales-wise, so I’m interested to see if we see more of that.

I’m also not expecting much of Toukiden. For all of Sony’s rather extensive marketing, Soul Sacrifice managed a 100k+ opening. Toukiden has none of that, unless that mention in their hunting games ad was supposed to do something. I don’t expect that PSP version to help things, either.

  • Solomon_Kano

Oh? Gundam Breaker’s out already? Huh. Been playing the beta and enjoyed it, so I may import. Wonder when the Vita version’s gonna hit…

Really wish I had the cash to pick up PXZ now. Alas.

    • Lynx

Your parts carry over from the Beta, if I’m remembering correctly.

      • Solomon_Kano

        Oho? Good to know.

  • ZEROthefirst

Officially going broke tomorrow. Getting Project x Zone and Muramasa Rebirth: Limited Edition tomorrow, so that’s a nice $100 + tax <.<

    Oh well~~

  • Uso Ewin

Can’t wait to break some Gundams, but not mine of course.

  • xAtKx

I think I should consider importing legend of heroes

    • mojack411

Only if you have a good grasp of Japanese. Trails in the Sky is a series you play for the story and characters rather than gameplay.

      • Kevadu

I don’t like it when people phrase it that way because it kind of implies the gameplay is bad. It isn’t. In fact I rather like the gameplay. It’s actually one of my favorite turn-based battle systems out there.

But yes, the story and characters are absolutely important too. There’s a ton of text in these games.

        • mojack411

Yeah, you’re right. I guess I shouldn’t have phrased it that way. I greatly enjoyed the battle system too. It was very unique and I still haven’t seen anything like it.

But it would just be a crying shame to miss out on its story

  • FetusZero

Muramasa Rebirth already o_O Can’t afford it this week -_-

  • Go2hell66

what a sad week for wii u

  • Anime10121

Loving the hell outta that Atelier cover!

  • Renaldi Saputra

will Decode’s sales exceed the previous PSP version?

  • Isaac Newton

PSP is still strong. Base on the software releases XD

    • Renaldi Saputra

      *you don’t say
