First Look At The Legend Of Heroes: Trails Of Blue Evolution

By Spencer . July 11, 2013 . 2:08am

Falcom is bringing the PSP game The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue, the sequel to Lloyd Banning’s story, to PlayStation Vita. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue Evolution is in the works and slated for release in 2014.

Kadokawa Games, Chara-Ani, and Patapon developer Pyramid are working together to create Trails of Blue Evolution. The four companies partnered to make Trails of Zero Evolution which was released in October 2012. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash, the latest game in the popular Trails series, is on track for release this September. Wow, Trails has become a yearly franchise!

Trails has been a yearly franchise since Zero was released on PSP in 2010. It’s nothing new.

Ao came out just one year after Zero and that came out in 2011. We got Zero Evo (and Nayuta) in 2012. 2013 is Sen and we’ll probably get the next Sen installment and Ao Evo in 2014.

And since Sen is probably 3 games, judging from the mass of characters, that will probably come out in 2015 ;)

Now we just need Xseed to pick it up :p Since we all know how we love these games and want to have everything that we can from the series :)

    • Aldorr

XSEED is *still not giving up on TitS:SC* and God knows how long it will take for them to bring this one =

      • PoweredByHentai

The XSEED staff are occasionally on Siliconera and they have commented that working on SC, The Third, Zero and Blue would take them a decade with the amount of staff they currently have.

It kind of sounded like they only have one translator on each project, and some translators are juggling multiple projects.

      • Kevadu

I’m confused…do you *want* them to give up on SC?

        • Aldorr

I want them to concentrate on SC and finally bring it West. Any more workload for them would be fatal for SC

        • Demeanor

Absolutely bring SC to the West, even if we have to wait. I’d like to see some decisive change happening, like a partnership with someone else (translators/groups/corporations) with a threefold aim: A) catch up with the sky trilogy asap to bring us SC and 3rd; B) promote the series to the West to increase awareness and fanbase; C) make plans to progressively bring to the West Zero, Ao and the rest.
The “creation” of more demand for the titles to get profitability and the additional manpower to pump out localizations are two critical factors imo to see Falcom rpgs in the West. I’d be fine with a not-so-perfect localization too, as long as I can play the games T_T

I know I know. I´m crossing my fingers and hoping and praying that they will find the economy and translators and everything to bring all these great games to us gamers.

      • RedShadoww

Maybe they should do a kickstarter…

  • Jah-keem York

I kinda find it funny how Sen gets so much coverage and then when a trailer is finally released Siliconera somehow misses it. So this is only slightly off topic but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvzQ_MNCr-k

Maybe they’re giving Trails fans a well-deserved breather. All of this teasing can’t be good for one’s heart.
