Falcom have released the first official trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash, an upcoming PlayStation 3 and Vita RPG that takes place in the lands of Erebonia, which was the setting of The Legend of Heroes: Trails In The Sky and Trails of Zero Evolution.
The game’s story surrounds the students of the elite Class VII of Thors Academy. The trailer starts out with a look at the heroes of Class VII of Thors Academy, along with some of their upperclassmen and instructor, Sara Valestin. It is followed by a quick glance at the Tactic Link System and a look at what appears to be Alisa and Emma on horseback, cautiously working their way around an enemy.
We also get a quick look at a giant hammer-wielding young girl who has yet to be revealed, but judging by her appearance, she doesn’t appear to be a member of Class VII.
In our earlier report, it was revealed that Sara will be a playable character, although she’s considered a sub-character according to Falcom. Perhaps The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash will feature several other temporary party members, who aren’t regulars of Class VII.
As seen on the official website, the mysterious new character appears on the cover of the PlayStation 3 version of the game, while she seems to have been omitted in the cover of the PlayStation Vita’s version, meaning she could be a console exclusive. Japanese magazine leaks report that more info regarding the character will be revealed as early as this week.
The Legend of heroes: Trails in the Flash is slated for release in Japan on September 26 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
