Here’s The PS4 Launch Game From Japan Studio

By Spencer . August 20, 2013 . 5:30pm

Evolution Studios is making Driveclub. Sucker Punch is developing inFamous: Second Son. Guerrilla Games is creating another Killzone. What’s Japan Studio working on? Knack.

Siliconera played Knack back at E3 and the game is like God of War with goblins meets Katamari Damacy. Knack will be released on November 15 alongside the console’s launch in North America.

    Knack is black !

Thought the same thing.. Game looks fun.. :) I’d remote play this on my Vita.

  • SetzerGabbiani

So Knack is…a cross between Ganon and Vectorman?

  • Lynx

    STILL reminds me of Cubix.
    More so than ever.

    I blame this trailer.

I mean this in a good way.

  • kenshinx13

I kinda wish Knack wasn’t able to talk… No offense to the actor or anything but… He seemed like he should have been the silent type of character

    • PreyMantis

I was thinking of the same thing. It’s just kinda weird for him to have a voice. It’s like your dog that can speak, which is strange and just out of place.

      • Namuro

        Like “PlayStation Vita Pets”? LOL

  • Serpenter Rex

Doesn’t really scream “Next Gen” to me. It looks more like a budget title. A perhaps fun, probably forgettable budget title.

    • Kai2591

I wouldn’t say that; this is made by that Mark Cerny guy after all.

  • Dexward

I hope Japan Studio works with Pyramid again to make a Patapon game for the Vita.

  • Ronldbx6

The game doesn’t look that bad, and I didn’t have high expectations for it but it looks alright.

  • Sebastian Lothian

It seems like a movie at times.

  • Göran Isacson

Have to admit I’m liking this trailer. It seems a bit slow at times, but I’m kinda curious as to how this will turn out. It feels like a… genuine FAMILY game, you know? an all ages adventure. You don’t really see those kinda games get big marketing unless they’re for Nintendo consoles.
