Namco Bandai will release Dark Souls II for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on March 11, 2014. Pre-order the game and you’ll get Dark Souls II Black Armor Edition which includes the soundtrack and a metal case.

If you like collectables and cloth maps check out the Dark Souls II Collectors Edition. This limited edition package includes the game, a soundtrack CD, a hardbound art book with never before seen images from FromSoftware’s artists, a cloth game map, and a Warrior Knight figurine. The figurine is 12 inches tall and weighs about 16 ounces.

Dark Souls II will also be released for PC shortly after the console versions.

I love the cover art to the game. Good choice. I’ll be getting this collector’s edition like I did with darksouls, and demon’s souls before!

  • ギャビン

    That cover is sexy.

  • Mental

I agree, the cover art looks really nice.

  • Cazar

Not real crazy about the figure’s pose.

  • Solomon_Kano

I NEEEEEEEEEEEEED that CE. A hardback Dark Souls art book sounds lovely.

  • Dagobert

Is the collectors edition up for pre-order yet? I don’t see it on Gamestop or Amazon. I see it on the namco bandai online store but I prefer not to order it from them directly.

    • LegoBaka

It’s not up currently, so give it a day or two. They just announced it, and systems typically update in the morning.

  • MrRobbyM

If the collectors edition is under 90 bucks I’ll definitely be all over it.

  • Keko

I don’t even care if it costs me a leg, I want it…NOW

  • Ty Austin

    It’s cool, I didn’t like having money anyways…

  • DesmaX

Oh, that’s a pretty cool CE.

Does anyone knows who’s composing the soundtrack for this game, anyway?

    • Nan

i know this is a month late but i’m guessing it’ll be sakuraba again

  • Saculogir

I love it when games give you maps, ever since I got one in Jak and Daxter’s box as a kid. They are such nice collectables and really help you feel like your about to embark on adventure. I’m not too crazy about the figure, but I’m definitely going to try to make room in my budget for this CE.

    • Ty Austin

One of my favorite things about a game is the world that it takes place in. Knowing all the locales and where everything is.

That’s one of my biggest complaints with FFXIII. I would love to see someone try to draw a World map of Pulse/Cocoon.

  • That collector’s edition will be mine on day 1. =^_^=

  • dahuuuundge

I hope the soundtrack CD will be Physical this time. Sure we got upgrade to LE with Dark Souls 1, but I hate how the soundtrack is digital download only.

  • Pockystix

    Get hype?

    Get hype.

  • Fox

Wait, so no beautiful collectors edition for PC? Lame. No way in hell am I getting the PS3 version.

    • sebastianandresparraguezcruzat

In the Dark Souls Facebook page they put the picture about the collector edition for pc

  • Hunts Rattata

They should push the release to a week earlier so its tagline can be “March 4th and die.”

  • Lazulis

CE, please be reasonably priced, I want you.

  • Josh

If you really want the CE I would just wait. It has been available for months and months and might still be available. It’s a prime example of a CE that will drop in price quickly. Arkham Origins was $60 for the CE like a month after it was released and it has a much better statue than this one does. I might see if I can get the statue on the cheap and then wait for this on PS4
