Earn Poké Miles In Pokémon X And Pokémon Y For In-Game Rewards

By Ishaan . September 23, 2013 . 12:01pm

In Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, you can earn “Poké Miles” within certain parts of the game, reports Serebii.net. Poké Miles are used in the PokéMileage Club to play attractions and receive items at the Pokémon Global Link website.

These items can then be sent back to the two Nintendo 3DS games; however, there is another way to earn these items as well. Dream Points in the Pokémon Global Link can be converted to Poké Miles as well, and the amount you get varies, depending on which of the  Pokémon RPGs you own.

More details can be found over at Serebii.net. Something else to note is that the Pokémon Global Link for the Gen 5 games (Black/White, Black 2/White 2) will be closing soon, with January 14th, 2014 set as the closing date.

Can’t I transfer over my dream points from my White 2 to the new PGL?
I don’t want to lose my mansion either

    • Symbol de Au

Yeah they get converted to miles. I don’t know about Mansion’s though.

wonder if some Mega Stones will require doing this to get…

I just want my Mega Mawile >_<

Now, with the name, I really hope to use the 3DS pedometer to earn Pokemiles by running. I’ll have yet another reason to keep doing so.

So with the global link closing, does that mean I can’t get pokemon with hidden abilities on my BW games anymore? I never really dabbled with global link after trying it once, and now I’m feeling kind of screwed.

You won’t, it’s closing in B/W in a week, so you better try and get what you want before then. I’m sure you’ll be able to get all of said pokemon with said abilities in X/Y though.

It’s closing for maintenance next week, not closing off the Dream World. What you won’t be able to do when it returns is register new games. You can still do Dream World stuff until December 10. THAT is when you can’t obtain anymore DW Pokémon.

I guess I should hurry and grab that Pokemon fron Drewmworld. I honestly forgot who it was.

I think it’s because the people at Pokemon are divulging their info in the wrong order and most people aren’t so much INTRIGUED as MILDLY CONFUSED in a way that isn’t quite interest, lol. Also, like, how many new features can the new Pokemon have?? (I mean that in a joking way I think it’s great this one offers so many options, but for real. for real.)

I hope this involved walking (or running) as someone mentioned below. I think it’d be a pretty good incentive to getting up for a while haha just like with HG/SS (if I recall correctly) and with the 3DS pedometer I don’t have to worry about losing it!
