The Season Pass for Batman: Arkham Origins has just been announced, and for those who don’t mind this method of milking your fan base, you can pre-order Batman: Arkham Origins for only $37.50 through GMG. You’ll get a Steam key, and pre-ordering also nets you the Deathstroke DLC for free.

If you hate everything Season Pass or DLC, you can always just go the route of waiting forever for the Game of the Year Edition to be released, which will bundle all the DLC under the sun into one nice little neat package for you to enjoy.

For those that still don’t have some of the past oldies in the series, the entire Arkham franchise is on sale this weekend at GMG, with Arkham City GOTY on sale for only $6 and Arkham Aslyum GOTY at a measly $4. Use coupon code GMG20-WS93W-R39MD to get the prices mentioned. The deals should work in the EU and UK too.

Other deals this week include a pre-order for the rebooted Thief from Edios Montreal, along with next week’s release of NBA 2K14 from 2K Sports. (Additionally, the older NBA 2K13 is on sale for $3.)

I wait for GOTY, Ultimate, Complete editions. I’d love to talk to someone who pays a full $60 for the game and then goes on to buy Season Passes or all the other DLC at full price. Yea, you have to wait, but there’s so many other games to be played. I tend to buy complete games at half the price or even less, all it takes is patience. My backlog is large enough now that I don’t have to pay full price for anything. I can just wait it out.

That said, $40 is a sweet spot for me. If it’s a personal must have or looks super interesting I’ll bite at $40. Pokemon XY and Rune Factory 4 I have no problem spending a full $40 on.

I did this for City & Asylum too

You can preorder a high profile game for under $40? That’s actually worthy of being called a sale
