“You can watch the trailer below.”

In all seriousness though, I’m very excited about this release as I can think of a few people I’ll be able to talk into trying it out.

In other news, that’s the most wonderful white space in the article ever.

Here’s the trailer that was supposed to be here:

  • Trailer? What trailer? LAWLZ!!

  • Marcelo Gouvea

    “Two Tales in One ‘Symphonia'”.

…Namdai, no. Don’t do that. You don’t have it in ya.

  • Crimson_Cloud

    Yeah yeah, I haven’t forgotten it. ^^

  • Timovisch

    I bet no ‘free-run’ update for ToS1? :(

    • HououinKyouma

Anyway, 10 more days, come on!

  • ShadowJetX

I wonder if we’ll ever hear the sounds of Day After Tomorrow / Misono out here in the West.

  • Wolfs_Rain

I know HD collections aren’t done on a huge budget, but would it really be so expensive to add some anti-aliasing? Just a minor gripe I’ve had with a lot of these re-releases.

  • Alexander Marquis Starkey

This better have English voice acting…I mean, half of it sucks, BUT DAMN IT, TARA STRONG, CRISPIN FREEMAN, JENNA HALE! I LOVED THEIR VOICES IN THIS GAME…Scott is a good actor, go I don’t like his voice for this kind of game…a lot of the other lines were just delivered mehishly(don’t waste time looking that up)

    • MrSirFeatherFang

This game was already confirmed to have dual-audio.

i wonder what the trophy list is gnna look like for this!!

    • fireguardiancoty

We should know pretty soon (comes out next wek in Japan). Judging on how Symphonia is and how past titles did it, it should be roughly like this:

Beat Abyssion, complete NIfelheim, x story trophies, all titles (maybe split by character), collector’s book, monster book, maybe figurines too?, see x character’s flanoir scene, kratos/zelos ending.

KoR: recruit all monsters, see all endings, hidden dungeon, collector/monster book, complete x chapter, sidequests, missions.

      I dunno. :P I’m just guessing.

Since it has dual audio not that I really push the whole dub vs sub thing. I just want to know what version of the openings they will use! Mad so many of the older Tales games used some random or instrumental version of the Japanese songs for openings. I REALLY hope they use the openings that have LYRICS!

    • Pyrotek85

My guess would be the Japanese opening if they only gave us one of them, since it’s based on the PS2 version of Symphonia if I recall.

      • fireguardiancoty

Well they already advertised the three songs (all remixed just for this version) so I guess Starry Heavens and Soshite will alternate.

As far as the English version goes…who knows? Maybe we’ll get all the openings for it ever.

  • Barrylocke89

This was the same trailer that had Starry Heavens and A Three Legged Race playing in the background in Japan from that Tales con thing. My guess is that Namco didn’t snag the rights to both songs for the Western versions. I hope I’m wrong :(

    • fireguardiancoty

They never showed progress in Xillia’s trailers and yet it was in the game anyway. I wouldn’t worry about it.

  • Mr. Snausages

The more I see, the more I wish it was on Vita….Maybe I am the one who still plays their Vita as a primary console, but RPG’s on the go are much better than shackled to a tv. Plus, it would look great on that OLED.
