My body is read for Rune Factory 4!!!

    • abysswalker

Mine too!!! Just a few more hours. I foresee getting late for work… but it’s going to be totally worth it

  • DoSHachiko

They actually have a game for SPEC?! :O I really want to get it since this series is so fun to watch, and it has Toma and Sebumi in it. <3

  • ronin4life

    Getting RuneFactory 4 and EO.
Been Thinking I’ll nab Agarest while it’s cheap too… hmmmm…

  • Aoshi00

Pre-ordered Rain, can’t wait to d/l it tmw :). Also lucky enough to have gotten the Windwaker LE w/ Ganandorf figure from GS (ebay sellers jacking the price up alrdy), would’ve wanted the Wii U bundle for the awesome controller if I don’t have the system alrdy..

    • British_Otaku

I’m probably going to buy the WindWaker Ganondorf edition myself and sit on the system till I see a cheaper Zelda one around Christmas or have money too…

It’s a shame the prices are going to super inflated for the complete set for late buyers and even now for those guys on Ebay who probably preordered a dozen of em. >_>

      • Aoshi00

I know, damn greedy ebayers who wanna make a quick buck. Originally it was out of stock from Gamestop and I regret not pre-ordering it the first chance I got. I called my local store and they said it’s pre-sold out, but they told me to keep an eye on the website it might be available again, and then I got the email saying it is, so I jumped on it :) I only ordered 1 copy though, don’t really feel like hoarding and re-selling..

I see someone selling on ebay the gamepad separately too. I guess I’d just need to be satisfied w/ my Zelda 3DS (though I only use my XL now).. also I’m using a faceplate for my Wii U pad now.. still, the bundle is such a bargain w/ the digital game and artbook I wish I had waited..

The Ganandorf figure in the globe looks nice, reminds me of the Mario & co. statue I missed from Club Nintendo before lol..

now I’m eyeing the Lightning Returns Dualshock 3 controller.. w/ GTA5 and Next Gen systems soon, I’m gonna be broke, wonder if I should hold off on PS4/XB1 since there might be LE bundles later..

        • British_Otaku

Looking again, the Ganondorf limited edition runs for £60 in GAME, that’s nearly 100 US Dollars. >_> Even if it might save me money in the future, it may not be the biggest saving… >_> For comparison’s sake, I got The Wonderful 101 for around £30. I think I’ll be waiting it out given that I have an expo to go to this month and a number of 3DS games to import soon.

I’ll be very interested in the price point that the limited edition gamepad goes for, it isn’t that much of a unique design, the whole package together on the other hand even if I favour physical goods and want the Ganondorf figure is pretty good. The figure in a globe reminds me that I need to save up for the Okami one (http://operationrainfall.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Okami-snowglobe.jpg ) too.

While I like getting limited edition systems as well (got a Zelda 3DS for my little bro, a Char Custom 3DS for myself), I only get them when I haven’t got the system already or when it is so cheap to pick them up at a town market. If I could afford a PS4 (my personal favourite, fortunately I have no reason to hold anything against the XB1 as well) now, I would go for it knowing full well that it could become cheaper, get a better form factor or limited edition. I would also consider it to be too much trouble (even with accounts and hard drives) to bother buying a second system and selling the original one while the generation is ongoing.

That’s my take, just on the basis that over the generation we will have tons of limited editions and rereleases to tempt us, very few will actually be worth it. A controller like the Lightning Returns one sounds like a good idea though as you would be able to use it for the PS3 and Vita TV. I’ve got this one here for my GameCube (http://gearmedia.ign.com/gear/image/article/587/587235/resident-evil-4-chainsaw-conroller-20050211034956829.jpg ).

I feel you, games are so expensive in the UK & Europe.. I picked up the Wonderful 101 too, just finished Chapter 1 w/ the pro controller, so hard to draw, guess I’d need to go back to the Pad..

The RE4 GC controller looks cool, but too gory and messy for me. The sucky thing about the Jpn Okami “disc” copy is that it makes you do a full 8Gb install which took like 30mins, and after that you still need the disc to play, if I knew, I would’ve just d/l’ed it on the US PSN for half the price. The sakura globe was cool, but it was an E-Capcom store edition and they cost an arm and a leg, didn’t think it was worth it.. (I’m getting Drakengard LE from S-E though).

That’s true, always tempting LE systems afterwards.. the thing is I liked my PS3 Slim better than the Phat which got a noisy fan.. they always work out the kinks later, make early adapters feel like guinea pigs.. right now XB1 actually has more titles that I want (DR3, Crimson Dragon, D4, Quantum Break).

Yeah, I like special controllers too since I always look at and use them, Lightning Returns blue one w/ the clock and lightning strike looks great, unlike the lame and fake Hori one lol.. Would definitely use it w/ Vita TV if released in the US.

I only had the boring Aqua Jpn 3DS (imported for like $380 at launch *.*), otherwise would’ve gotten the sexy red Gundam Char one.. it’s definitely a chore to transfer everything to a new system, I did that for the 3DS to XL, and the Wii to Wii U, I don’t think I would do it again..

Games are more expensive in the UK and Europe than North America, yes, but I’m mostly concerned that a fully fledged top of the line action game from Platinum and Hideki Kamiya (I’ll play it more when I get a Wii U) runs for close to £30 while WindWaker HD which is a brilliant game and remake sure with a nice figure goes for £60.

WWHD is the first game in a while which made me think about how expensive games can be, I get the feeling that Nintendo (as they priced it at £50 on the eShop) and GAME (as they think that people will pay £60 for a Zelda game with a figure) are either overconfident or acting like assholes… >_>

It was a cruel joke, releasing it digitally on the PSN store then having the physical version in Japan a full download which needs the original disc. I didn’t find it out the hard way, but I could have done it. The snowglobe (too expensive or not) is the only part of the Okami HD deal that I want, given that they messed up on the credits again for English speakers.

Oddly enough, I see console creators messing up their systems just as often. The later PS3 models may be more stable and quiet, but they removed slots and PS2 support and I could never get behind the Game Boy Micro or DSi. I’m interested in Dead Rising and D4 as well, I’m just going to be waiting till I can afford the systems or get my fill from elsewhere.

A detective TV drama with a licensed video game on the 3DS? I may look into the show, then go back to get the game… >_> Licensed games aren’t always good, but maybe I’ll have more stuff to watch at the least.

  • JustThisOne

Kukghk… ;__; Of course I remember Cing! Why must you reopen old wounds like thissss?

    *rocks in fetal position*

  • kylehyde

Yes, I will always remember Cing.

    • idrawrobots

Of course Kyle Hyde would. I still wish Nintendo snatched them up.

  • Learii

my body ready for hometown story

  • Smooosh

Cing… Forever in my heart. QQ

Unlike a lot of people, I actually liked Again. Sure, not their best work, but all I heard about it was how bad it’s supposed to be. I was pleasantly surprised when I got to play it.

  • Raiger

I felt a deep impact of happiness when i read about CING again…but then feeling sad after realizing it’s already gone but always in our hearts.
honestly i wish there could be more stories of Kyle Hyde….
but wow… 3DS will be getting so many awesome games ^^
