Shin Dynasty Warriors Gundam Goes Wild With Playable Giants

By Spencer . October 10, 2013 . 5:01am

Gundams are gigantic, but Mobile Armor towers over Mobile Suits. We’ve seen Big Zam before in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 and in Shin Dynasty Warriors Gundam you can drive it like any other mech. Watching Big Zam stomp on armies looks ridiculously awesome.

Shin Dynasty Warriors Gundam has more mechs than any other game in the hack and beam saber slash series. Namco Bandai will release the game in Japan for PlayStation 3 and Vita on December 19.

No 00 movie and Endless Waltz ? Disappointed.

    • Vernauth

considering 00 popularity i bet 00 movie will be DLC

Quanta, Brave Commander, All meisters lol

      • Dark Zerato

Nowadays, Bamco only knows SEED, UC and Wing. 00 gets no love lately.

  • Aristides

Damn, they better localize this >.< they did so for the past three entries I hope nothing's stopping them now…

    • Dark Zerato

This series is the only Gundam games being localized. So Bamco should know what they should do to make Gundam becomes more popular in the west.

  • Zikrayrus “Zikk” Dis Pear

What the, Mobile Armors look hax as crap.

  • Tanner

I’m going to pick Burning Gund– ohheybigzam

  • Uso Ewin

I can’t wait to see how they’re going to fit Build Fighters in to all of this.

  • Cursingcomet

That trailer was breathtaking. This DEFINITELY needs to get localized.

    • eilegz

it will hopefully we get japanese voice and original gundam songs. english dub its horrible and the lack of gundams ost and songs make it less epic

      • Kaihedgie

You talk as if the remixes were actually good.

  • GVmanX

    It’s Big Zam time!

    No, daddy, no!

  • Kaihedgie

This is basically the exact same trailer as shown at TGS, except with the Beargguy notice added. I was hoping they were going to at least show off Destroy and Legend.

  • Brion Valkerion

Eh… those backgrouds/stages looked bland as crap. I mean their were only like 4 stages in DW:G3 but these just look… not good.

    • Kaihedgie

      There were twelve in DWG3

  • fyi1191

For a second there I thought we could finally use the Archangel in battle. Da…but that Big Zam, smoking hot!

    • Kaihedgie

You technically can as a Combination Attack

  • Sergio Macellaro

Man it would look sooo good on my PSV…Namco bring it to west on PSV too.

  • eilegz

hopefully we can see gundam age and build fighter mechas here, and please no DLC that killed dwg3

    • Kaihedgie

      How did it “kill” it?

      • eilegz

fragmented roster, because there are dlc characters…

        • Kaihedgie

There were only five, four of them being from the same series.

Fragmented roster, how? At the very least there was more than one character from each show

    • Reanau

Don’t get it. The DLC wasn’t so bad and never gave me the idea that I needed it.

  • Seraph

Here’s hoping there’ll be more playable Mobile Armors. Wouldn’t mind a playable Psycho Gundam/Psycho Gundam Mk. II or even better yet…

    A playable RX-78GP03 Gundam Dendrobium.

    In other words. This thing:

    • Kaihedgie

Destroy Gundam was already announced. Shamblo is definitely a shoe-in.

  • Sesshomaru

    I need this.

  • “hack and beam saber slash”

    Nice one, Spencer. xD

  • bushin
