If Anyone Is Going To Kill Goku In J-Stars Victory Vs. It’s Going To Be Vegeta

By Spencer . October 14, 2013 . 11:50pm

The J-Stars Victory Vs. roster would be bland without rival characters like Vegeta bellowing how he’s the only one who can kill Kakarot or Sasuke ranting about being an avenger. In addition to Goku, Naruto, and Toriko, the crossover fighting game has Vegeta, Sasuke, and Zebra.

    who’s going to kill goku?

definitely not sasuke, he’s a wimp

    • yomachaser

Not anymore, he’s been buffed to insane levels recently.

      • Not enough, if you’ve seen the last movie. Though, apparently, there is suppose to be a sequel.

Bit of a head’s up: The movie has a set of scenes that completely invert and negate Dragonball GT from happening. Take that, naysayers!

        • Christopher Nunes

Isn’t there 12 Canon Universes now? (Well I’m not sure what that’s about)

But that could mean that GT happens in another timeline… I do like SSJ4 but I wish they really showcased its full potential. If only Akira was around to help with that, I think he would’ve made SSJ4 godly like he did with SSJG (though I haven’t seen it yet).

          • Well, given that most of the other, older movies weren’t made with Akira Toriyama, that would be the case. But, given that this recent one is made by him, and considered by his own words as part of the Official Canon/Main Timeline, it just doesn’t matter anymore.

Also, in some sources, it is said that the still-in-Korea Online game follows the Official Timeline and Akira Toriyama is partly involved in that, too. Considering that most of the premise involves “Future” Trunks acting as a Time Police Patrol, then, maybe then, would GT become relevant again. But right now, as the game isn’t worldwide yet, it wouldn’t work as ammo for defending that show’s position in the wavery canon of Dragonball. The whole “Multiverse” thing isn’t a stable topic anyway, even if it makes sense since the “Cell Saga”.

    • Dark Zerato

Goku is already dead. No one can kill him anymore.

      • Rayhan PromisedGallery

technically, dead people can be killed again in DBZ. Goku himself warned (dead) Vegeta about this in Kid Buu’s fights

        • WolfDuo

Pretty sure they don’t actualy say that. It’s just poor dubing. Funanimation and ocean had a way of doing that….

          • Joseleeh

i believe that was filler XD

    • Croix Zapp

sasuke does more whining than avenging

  • LBattle0819

wow the stages look hella huge

    • Virevolte

      Beware the invisibles barriers…!

  • Erwin MadJelly

Chinese Version maybe? Last hope for small localization…

    • Rayshawn Davis

Well from a interview over at Saiyan Island, a Namco Bandai representative who knew about the game stated that they know that fans over in the states want this game localized. But needed fans to keep asking for it to let the rest of them notice. Gauging in seeing if the demand is enough to warrant the possibility and effort of localizing this game.

So there’s a bit more hope to go around, even though it seems unlikely.

      • TheGameTagerZ

I’m the one who interviewed him that day. That was PR talk. He knows that this game is one of the most difficult games to bring over because of the obscure anime characters that don’t even have a license here. Even if they were to cut out characters it would be a pain to bring here and they would be selling at a loss.

        • Nice Boat Quatro

          Really? Hey thanks

    • Fidelis

Why worry about the localization of a fighting game on a region free console?

      • Pedro Furtado

People who have a Vita and want to buy digital, I guess, it’s not too practical to have two PSN accounts there.

      • fearlubu

I at least want text that I can read. I dislike now being able to fully understand something. At least if all the text were translated I could read it up.

  • WolfDuo

And still no hiei? You’re killing me here!!

  • .:Raphællius:.

Bills would own all of them.

  • Tom_Phoenix

I wonder if Sasuke’s brother will also be in this.

    • Nice Boat Quatro

The Rower needs to be here

      • God

        And don’t forget David-Fucking-Bowie!
