Microsoft Dangles $10 Carrot for Pre-Order on Xbox One Games

By Viet Do . October 16, 2013 . 10:58am

Microsoft Store has a pretty interesting promotion going on for Xbox One (and 360) upcoming titles. Given pre-order incentives for console games are few and far between (never mind those day-one DLCs they often throw our way), this is as good of a deal as any for those who’ve already decided the Xbox One is their next-gen console of choice.

Until November 22nd (or earlier, depending on the game’s release date), all pre-order Xbox One titles listed below will get a free $10 Xbox gift card digital code within 10 business days of purchase. The gift card is good for adding money to your Xbox account (since they’ll be converting to a dollar system vs. points when the Xbox One releases.)

All titles below will receive a $10 Xbox gift card digital code as a bonus. Note that Ryse: Son of Rome and Forza Motorsports 5 are Xbox One only titles.

Start End Game Title MSRP
Oct 15 Oct 24 Batman Arkham Origins (Xbox 360) $59.99

Don’t worry Sony is feeling the pinch too, when it was proven that their supposely “stronger system” is no better than a 1.6 Ghz laptop in mid 2009.

And the only thing that Sony has the edge over Microsoft is just the drivers no way in that paid edge article it said that the tech in Sony PS4 is vastly superior or 50% more powerful as Sony claims it to be.

Who has more to lose a no name forum board on 4chan /g/ or Sony? I think I trust a bunch of tech heads over a paid journalist any day now.

Too bad watchdog won’t be a launch title anymore.. This would be nice for dead rising 3.. wonder if applies to AC 4 as well..

The point to currency conversion happened weeks ago, not after XB1 launches.. Things are alrdy in dollar and yen on us and Jpn xbl..and points on acct have all been converted…

Whats interesting is there is no real interesting game there. It is almost all the same old same old which is the problem with Xbox game wise. They may have the occasional interesting title, but it is buried deep under Microsoft’s horrible reputation, Xbones horrible reputation, and all the controversy from both.
