From Bardock To Majin Buu, More Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Z Characters

By Spencer . October 24, 2013 . 2:35am

You can’t have a Dragon Ball fighting game without Bardock or Majin Buu these days. What makes Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z different is there are four different Majin Buu forms to play as. You can be Super Buu, Pure Evil Buu or Super Buu with Gohan absorbed. Or if you want to set up a non-canon Buu battle you can have all four Buu forms on one team fighting three Cell forms and Bardock. Here’s a look at more characters, mostly villains, confirmed for the game.

Bardock  – Ki Blast type

    Kid Gohan!? That’s Goten. -_-

  • Bobby Jennings

I’m guessing GT’s going to be in this game since that Majin Buu is considered “good”?

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/Kevassa02 kevassa

Not necessarily. At the very end of the manga and Z Fat Buu was already a good (albeit incredibly childish) guy.

      • Pdugna

especially since he made friends with hercule

      • Bobby Jennings

        JOKE GUYS. JOKE.

    • KyoyaHibari

Well you can’t forget Buu meeting Hercule and trying to kick Evil Buu out of his body then later helping Goku when he was trying to make the Super Spirit Bomb to defeat Kid Buu.

    • Sardorim

Sadly there’s no GT characters in this. Best to wait for another DB related game or learn Japanese and play Dragon Ball Heroes.

      • Bobby Jennings

        It was a joke xD

    • Guest

Naw they’ve specifically said a long time ago no GT, which I’m totally okay with.

Buu was considered a good guy since he was all nice with Hercule and has been a good guy in the DBZ canon until the end and in more Z related things. That’s not just a GT concept.

      • Bobby Jennings

Just letting you know it was sarcasm.

  • British_Otaku

So is there fusion or is that just a prelude animation for the pair?

  • KyoyaHibari

Kid Gohan? Pure Evil Buu? Uhh…Goten and Kid Buu lol. Pure Evil Buu could work I suppose, but then there’s Evil Buu who was part of good Fat Buu.

  • Learii

I guess there no Evil Buu

  • Lloyd Christmas

Kid Gohan? Really? Kinda hard to take the editors here seriously when they don’t even know who’s who.

  • Musashi234

Pure Evil Buu……..That sounds super lame wtf what happened to just Kid Buu?!?!?

  • The 15ᵗʰ Angel

Either you some how copy and pasted those from a botched bing translate or you don’t know much about dbz…

    • Koibito888

      Maybe both…

  • Pockystix

I still can’t get over the fact that 18 is a support type

    wat

  • Ikechi Onyenaka

When are they going to show Vita gameplay?

  • Sardorim

Notice how they skipped over Buutenks.

    And no Vegito!

  • Kintaro

Am I the only one who doesnt like the graphics of the scenery/battle backgrounds? I’d prefer graphics like super dragon ball z, less ‘realistic’ and more like the anime, also the characters could use more cell shading, like the naruto games for ps3, dont get me wrong I love dragon ball z it’s just my opinion

    • Koibito888

I’d agree if it were more like Naruro Storm, not like Super DBZ. I don’t dislike these graphics though, they aren’t bad in my opinion.

Nothing portrays “Ki Blast Type” better than Dabora cutting someone up with his sword.
