Kinda want.. kinda don’t… :/ blah.

Look pretty good might pick it up eventually always on the lookout for a Vita game.

  • MoriyaMug

This is looking pretty good. I’ve been wanting a good Metroidvania-type game.

  • Nate

    Air vent opening simulator.

    • AuraGuyChris

      It’s clearly mundane made awesome.

    • HAHAHAHA I’m laughing so much!

I just went from “I don’t give a damn” to “I may give a damn”.

    • JuhRo

Yeah.. him getting that Bat-Claw thing and being able to bring down a wall from far away.. That was pretty nifty and piqued my interest. But not enough, sadly.

Retro studios can’t do wrong. I think. I hope.

Whatever the case, I’m gonna be on the lookout for more info on this game tomorrow…

    • But it’s not Retro, though… is it? Last I heard, Retro is owned by Nintendo.

Armature Games who developed this is made up on a lot of Retro Studios staff I hear, but unlike a number of cases you can think of (Clover/Platinum and Team Ninja minus Itagaki and friends) Retro Studios haven’t had a poor output despite losing those members.

Armature on the other hand were working on this which you may had seen:

Yes, Retro are owned by Nintendo and have been for over a decade.

        • Right. Makes a lot more sense now, don’t know why I forgot about that Maverick Hunter project. Oh… wait…

      • leingod

Well, yeah… the Retro guys that left, I mean :)

  • Josué

So, wayne tech makes weapons and one of those weapons is named the bat-claw…

I’m too geeky to overlook that…

    • British_Otaku

It’s really sketchy that the gadgets are in Blackgate to begin with, before Bat Claws being in special WayneTech weapons caches. Arkham Asylum treaded the line with Bruce already setting up another Bat Cave there and Batman getting his goodies from various vehicles (more or less when the game feels like handing them, but not this haphazard).

  • Just wondering is this VITA or 3DS footage?

    • TheExile285

I think its Vita footage since he says Vita at the beginning

  • Valtiel Ikari

my main question is: if the surrounings seem to be made for 3D exploration, Why side scroller?
don’t get me wrong, nothing agaist side scrollers, but even when he fights, you can see the enemies moving in 3D, so why not go all the way?
