By Viet Do . October 26, 2013 . 11:00am

If you never bought the original Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 (whew), the Full Burst Edition comes with all DLC released and updated graphics and enhanced cinematics. Some screenshot comparisons can be found from this July post.  PC gamers can also take advantage of the game, as it’s now available as a Steam title.

The recently released Steam key for Full Burst is only $30, whereas the console versions are on sale at $30.99 for the PS3 and $35.99 for the 360.

Other noteworthy deals this week include pre-orders for Battlefield 4 (releases next week) for FPS fans, and the thus far relatively well-received Lego: Marvel Super Heroes open-world sandbox game.

If someone can make a mod to replace all the actual voices in that Naruto game with the ones from the Abridged Comedy Fandub Spoof Series Show, I will buy it in a heart beat x3

Hell, even a mod that simply replaced every instance of “Kakashi” in the text with “David Bowie” would make me consider throwing down the money.

    • Shady Shariest

      … Why stop there?
      “STEAM Workshop compatibility”!

  • xAtKx

Some decent deals, but I need to save my money. Black Friday a month away you know.

    • Hey man. We need our $2.15 in sales commission. So uh, buy the game 3x times?

  • Call me when the PC version isnt locked at 30 FPS.

    • Tatsuya1221

Does it support cross platform online multiplayer or just local and console locked?

If it supports multplayer across platforms, then the pc version would kinda require the framerate to be locked at the same as the console versions to prevent the pc users from having an advantage.

      • Nope, no cross platform support for game playing. Its just a 360 Port to the PC with its own servers for multiplayer.

        • Tatsuya1221

Then ok yes, it’s stupid, unless it has issues running at 60 fps (engine issues specifically), which i doubt.

  • KonjikinoSora

CORRECTION: Full Burst comes with all DLC except for the Hello Kitty Sakura and Goku Naruto. Goku Naruto is exclusive to day-one copies of the original game, and Hello Kitty Sakura can be purchased for $2.99 (which is too much).

    • Thanks for adding that in!

    • pressstart

Your $2.99 is not worthy of Hello Kitty! >:P

I’m so hyped for Lego Marvel Heroes! And those deals are sweet. Maybe I’ll bite!

  • Juan Andrés Valencia

Is the game stand alone or I do have to play the previous Ultimate Ninja Storm games (Or worse… watching the entire show)? I played the demo and I loved it.

    • subsamuel01

It continues from where the last game left off. Usually the people who buy the games are the ones who watch the show, if your don’t you might be pretty lost.

    • British_Otaku

You mean, you want to play it but aren’t up to date on the story right?

The Storm games each tried to cover their current arc, but they do go off the rails and invent fights, conditions and such which I would never accept as filler in the anime (not that I like much filler) so basically, you would need to be up to date with the anime and to some extent the manga if you care about progression.

However If you had fun with the demo, you should just forget about progression, buy the game but follow the manga as you go along (the anime adaptations of long runners all of them have their problems). Naruto doesn’t feel like the type of series where revelations are better hidden at the expense of playing a fun game, sorta like how I played Smash Bros and with Sheik ruining the surprise a decade in advance of me playing OoT (yes I waited).

  • Weird Al Yankovic

The 30% Naruto GMG deal leads to a 404. Looks like the deal is gone.

    • Hmm wow. That’s pretty silly. Looks like its gone from their catalog. Weird. There were definitely copies sold but its kind of weird that GMG just off and got rid of it (404’ing the page).

  • Ran-san

Some deals do look tempting but gonna wait for them Halloween ones to begin soon ^_^

  • FlyingPony

Finally, anime game on PC platform. Awesome.

  • Nameless App 1989

What was that costume Naruto was wearing in the thumbnail?

  • thaKingRocka

The deal not only appears to be dead, but Naruto does not even show up on GMG at all. It says the deal expires on 11/1, but I get nothing but dead ends.

    • Yeah sorry pretty wild that GMG just killed the deal like that and the page along with it. No longer on their catalog (but was definitely available as we see transaction from Siliconera).

      • thaKingRocka

It sucks that the deal died, but I bought it anyway. I had an audience anticipating a couple of hours of play today.
