I like how they are trying so hard to make people buy this game after the abysmal E3 showing, they say it was to show a contrast between the funny and the horror when no other publisher would do that because they understand what happens when you do that, you get negative backlash and they also know after E3 very few buyers keep researching the game.

They knew what they were doing they were trying to make a game CoD and walking dead fans would buy to get more sales but in the end half of the old DR fans are not buying it the other half are. The sales they were trying to gain by making this new game darker will be minimal, and adding in the silly weapons after to try and gain some fans back is very easy to see. It reminds me a lot of DmC the difference is these are the guys who made DR2 and that game was great they could have kept the atmosphere of that game and the new features of this game and called it DR3 and I would have bought it.

If you keep the game the “same” and try to open up for some “change” then you really will just get another COD

Yeah… This is a good game, and i have watched the series from behind the shoulder, but it’s a shame that it wen’t on to be one of the “Owned” games…

Even though I’ll buy it, I doubt it can ever beat Dead Rising 1. That game was just different. There was something about Dead Rising 1 that made it fun, which Dead Rising 2 lacked and from looking at Dead Rising 3 videos it doesn’t look like it will beat Dead Rising 1. Sure the graphics, AI, physics etc. might be improved but it just doesn’t seem to have that Dead Rising 1 feel to it. Right now Dead Rising 3 looks more like Dead Island to me.

Maybe it was that mall in Dead Rising 1. I don’t know.
