Dillon’s Rolling Western For 3DS Is A Club Nintendo Reward This Month

By Ishaan . November 4, 2013 . 10:00am

Nintendo are being rather generous with this month’s selection of Club Nintendo digital rewards. As always, four games are available to download in exchange for Club Nintendo coins. They are as follows:

Dillon’s Rolling Western (3DS eShop) – 200 coins

Metroid (3DS Virtual Console) – 150 coins

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Wii Virtual Console) – 150 coins

Art Style: Cubello (WiiWare) – 150 coins

  • Izzy Miyake

Thought’s on Dillon’s Rolling Western? I’m not a big fan of TRADITIONAL tower defense, would I still enjoy this?

  • NeoAthanasius

This makes me feel better about not getting one of those sweet colored charging cradle.

  • KingGunblader

Never got A Link to the Past. May as well pick it up on Wii U in preparation for Between Worlds. Gonna do a bit of research on Dillon before diving in.

  • Pdugna

Really loved the aesthetic of this game because its reminds me of Sly Cooper quality of animal forms so looks pretty nice for what it is :D.

  • School Idol Addict

Oh now this is something good, i’m going to buy it right away.

  • Dsvkb

I just downloaded it. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of it so far. I really don’t care for the touch screen only controls, and the rolling in attacks can be hard to aim. Maybe it’ll grow on me since I love games like Orcs Must Die

  • Herok♞

For a link to the past I could I play it on the wiiu game pad or would it be suck in the wii menu if I got it for Wiiu

    • Kaetsu

You can play it on the gamepad but with a classic controller. You can’t actually use the buttons on the gamepad. It’s only used as a screen.

Wow, that’s kind of neat! I didn’t know the Wii VC stuff worked on the gamepad at all.

  • EggmaniMN

I redeemed my coins for Link to the Past but the code apparently doesn’t work when I enter it on the Wii Shop. Just tells me there’s no reward associated with that download ticket. Anyone else have that problem or know who I can email about it?

    • School Idol Addict

I have been trying to buy a code, but it always say it isn’t available.

      • Rohan Viajar

Same, I’m trying to get Metroid, but it says it isn’t available.

        :/

  • Suicunesol

Oh, wow. It’s actually a new-ish game instead of a vintage game… I’ve always been interested in trying this because it reminds me of Goron racing. Now I can actually use my stash of Nincoins.

    Dillon for me then.

  • Rudi Adkins II

Just when I was about to fucking buy Metroid is for 100 coins. SOLD.

    NNGGG! Blast it! I really want that Pikmin bag. . . but I really want Dillon’s Rolling Western. . . well, maybe I can just wait for the next sale. ;u;

    • Kaetsu

You only have a month to buy DRW. The bag will probably be on sale a lot longer.

      • http://twitter.com/puchixseda puchinri

Yeah, but the bag is also 600 coins and it’s so hard to get another 100 coins even. vuv

  • Jordan Ortiz

I went to download link to the past but it says “sorry this item is currently unavailable” :,(

  • mojack411

Whoa, really cool reward. And only for 200 coins! Definite grab.

  • hazelnut1112

Oh my god, this is great. Thanks for this news.
I am going to redeem this so hard.

  • Ben Sylvia

Yes finally! I’ve been wanting this since it came out but was always so poor!

Crap! Gotta remember my club password.

  • Raltrios

Excellent. Finally something to spend my coins on. I’d always been curious to try Dillon, but still hesitant enough to not want to spend money on it. Now I have a solution.

Makes up for missing StarTropics II because I thought I already had it. :(
